Another Valentine's-Heart Card

013108-lovelove1.jpg

013108-lovelove2.jpg Hi all!

I'm still caught in my Valentines-Guava-Cocoa phase! I used nearly the same supplies for this card that I use for this week's MACM, but I just couldn't resist! I loved it too much!

I've had a lot of questions about Accents & Elements--apparently, many of you aren't familiar with them! :) Just let me tell you that the Accents & Elements kits are awesome and worth the time to look into. If you're familiar at all with Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kits, A&E kits are essentially just the die-cut pre-printed adhesives that come in the scrapbooking kits. They're awesome! A&E kits work great for cards.

I've been eyeing one of the A&E kits and I can't wait to create something with it. I might have to use it for next week's MACM!

Anyhow, I hope everyone has an awesome weekend. I'm planning to do a bit of baking, and then update some of the items in the columns here at my blog. :)

What are you up to this weekend?

Love Love Love - Forever in My Heart stamp set; Dotted wheel; Close to Cocoa, Groovy Guava, and Blush Blossom card stock; Close to Cocoa and Groovy Guava ink; clear button; thread.

Stinking adorable, I'm franticly PMing my demo who is keying my new SU order right now, "ADD CLOSE TO COCOA!!" as I didn't have a whole pack of that on my order.

Yep. I've decided. I'm totally going to get that dots wheel. I'm usually not a fan of wheels, but I've been eyeing it. And seeing what you made this past week, I'm convinced!

Hmmm... this weekend. Going to the gym, getting my eyebrows tamed, and watching the superbowl!

Heather:

Like the card -- I like how you rounded the corner. Neat little accent that I never remember to do.

Weekend plans --- not much of anything which I am really excited about --- we have been crazy for the last few weeks, so it will be nice to have an easy going weekend. I think I may scrap a little!

I look forward to seeing more cards with the A&E kits because I just look at them in the catalog and have no idea what I'd do with them.

This weekend, I am leaving for FLORIDA and I'm very excited to go and visit my grandpa--yeah!

I love Accents and Elements too! I recently purchased the Build-A-Flower tin, and I need to pull it out and start creating. Maybe that's what I'll do this weekend! Might go watch the game on Sunday. I have to make my Touchdown Taco Dip. Mmmmmmm...:)

Great color combination. I've been playing around with it myself since your last card. This is another great workshop example. You really should reconsider the demo thing. I'm a demo and you keep selling me on new products!!!

This weekend: Lots of naps. Been sick with a cold all week. I have a mombo coldsore on my upperlip. It's beautiful.

Me again. Hey...I noticed you got Lipstick Jungle for TiVo...I demand a review :) I've seen the commercials and wonder if its worth watching...I really like the chick from Third Watch. So...let us know what you think, okay???

Kristina says: Hmm... It was okay. I think I might like Cashmere Mafia more. Although I do love Brooke Shields. I don't know! Both shows are so much alike, I can hardly keep them straight!

I'm digging the truly edible looking color combo. Makes me want a cupcake!

I'm going to blog & stamp and make my world famous (exagg) beans for a superbowl party tomorrow.

Darden Smith has a new release - if you don't already have him on your playlist, I think you'd really like him.

Thanks for sharing another card. I gotta tell you that you really helped me with the stamping wheel. I would have never thought to use a stamp pad. I have about 6 of them, which I never use because I'm sick of the same black ink. Thanks again.
