Finally Friday Video - Glitter Heart

012309-ff2.jpg

Good morning, all!

This week's card was inspired by American Crafts Details Embellishments. I love their little accents and I wondered if there was a way to sort of make something similar. So that was the jumping off point. :)

As usual, you can see the video in higher quality over at YouTube.

NOTE: There will not be a Finally Friday next week. I'll be back with a new card and video on February 6. :)

Oh, you are so brave for using glitter. I just can't stand finding pieces of glitter all over me for the rest of the day after using it!

I love watching your videos Kristina, you just make everything look so easy. You have such a neat and precise way. I was happy you used heat and stick powder, I will pull mine out and give it a try.

I love the look of glitter too, but I'm with Carrie on the issue of turning my house (and me) into "glitter city". I seem to have solved that problem with the "chunky" glitters from Stampin' Up! Super managable and pretty too. I just did a bunch of Valentine cards - all with glitter! Yippee!! LOL.

p.s. Love that new 3-heart punch from SU too! So cute. Didn't see it in the supply list, but I believe it's the "Heart to Heart" punch.

This valentine's card is beautiful!

Could you recommend a stationary starter kit? I'd like to get started making my own cards.

Thank you ;o)

Kristina says: Oooo... that's a good question. Your best best is to buy one of Stampin' Up!'s card kits. They come with everything you need to make some pre-designed cards. However, you don't have to make the cards exactly how they're pictured--you can get creative and make them any way you want! :) Hope that helps!
