MACM – Perfectly Placed Cut Letters (You are amazing)

Do y’all remember this card? The one that took for-EVER to adhere all the letters. I was thinking it about it this weekend and I was trying to figure out a better way to cut and adhere letters.

Perfectly Placed Cut Letters

My solution was to create little connecting points between the letters. After adhering the letters to the card, I could carefully cut away the connecting points. I’m not sure if it’s the best solution, but this is what I came up with. And it was a LOT quicker than how I did the letters before. :)

MACM – Thank You For All You Do

Morning, all!

For today’s card, I really went back to basics and let the card sentiment really be the focus of the card. I love cards like this–typographic cards, almost. :)

Anyhow, I used the All Spice 6×6 pad from My Mind’s Eye and the Thank You stamp set from American Crafts. For the little itty bitty letter stickers, I used my new obsession: Prima letter stickers. These letter stickers are awesome! I bought a few different colors at the same time (always risky when you haven’t seen them in person), and I’m so glad I did! I picture myself using these stickers a lot for cards.

If you want to pick up some of these stickers, Scrapbook.com seems to have all of them, and all the but the white and black are in stock at TwoPeas.

So, enjoy the card! Happy Monday!

MACM – Punched Window (For Your Little Night Owl)

Hi, all!

For this week’s Make a Card Monday video, I really wanted to use the Night Owl stamp set from My Cute Stamps. I bought this stamp set a while ago and every week I would take it out, look at it, and then use something else. I suppose I was waiting for an idea to strike. Does that happen to you guys? You know you love a stamp set, but it just takes you a bit to come up with an idea for it? I’m pretty sure everyone has experienced this, right? :)

Anyhow, I decided to punch a circle and have the little baby owl on the inside of the card. I love cards like that.

Where to buy Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink

I mention in the video that I found a really great source for Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink pads: Createforless.com. They have practically every color, and a bunch are on sale at the moment, to0. Oh, and Createforless has quilting and sewing supplies, too. I bought some iron-on vinyl to make some more cosmetic bags for Christmas gifts. Shh! If my mom or sisters are reading this… when you open your gifts this holiday season, act surprised, okay? :)

Anyhow, on to the card!
