Color Inspiration

Hi all! We’re heading into the fourth Readers’ Choice Color Inspiration Challenge, and this time it’s all about the blue. :) When you look around the web in galleries or on blogs, you don’t see a lot of the blue in this photo–the bright blue–but it can be a really strong color in a great combination like this one. The photo for this challenge comes from Laura.

Hi all! Sorry for the later post today. I meant to have this up this morning but the day got away from me! :)

Anyhow, there were SO many great purple-y submissions for the Reader Choice Color Inspiration Challenge No. 3! So many to pick from. Seriously, you guys out do yourselves every time! Here are my top ten picks…

Okay! Are you ready for the next challenge? This time it’s from Carol. :)

I really love these colors, too! :) The purples are so pretty. (Purple seems to be a running theme for the last few challenges. Hm. Weird). Anyway, have fun with it! And remember to use all the colors in the color combination. That’s part of the challenge. :)

Wow! That was a hard color combination, eh? There were so SO many great cards, too! Here are my top ten picks…

NOTE: This is just a friendly reminder! :) There were some cards in the submissions this time that while they were very nice, they didn’t use the actual color combination. I decided to not include them in the round-up. If you would like your card to be considered in the round-up, please be sure to use all the colors in the combination. HI all! This is second picture from the reader photo submissions. This time, the photo is by Kristie.

I think you’re all in for a real challenge. These colors are pretty unusual. In fact, I didn’t have a purple in mind. It’s a pretty bright purple in the photo, and the only purple cardstock I have on hand is SU Elegant Eggplant, but that was too dark. I can’t wait to see what ya’ll do with it! Mwa ha ha! ;)
