More than puppy love! – New Valentine’s products from Simon Says Stamp

Hi all! Today I have a video that I did a last week for Simon Says Stamp. Enjoy!

The new stamps and dies that I designed for Simon are now available! Today I have a video for you featuring the Falling Hearts die, Talk Bubbles 2 die set, and the Simon in Love stamp set.

Some of you might not know that Simon is an actual dog. He’s the fur-baby of Heidi, the founder and owner of Simon Says Stamp. Simon is the official mascot! Last year, Simon introduced us to his little girlfriend Simone. ;) So we added a Simon in Love stamp set to our exclusive line of products.

I used Copic markers for coloring in Simon. Be sure to watch the video to see which colors I used specifically for each dog.

Enjoy!

Selective Embossing with DIY Diffuser

Hi all! Today I have a video that I did a little bit ago for Simon Says Stamp. Enjoy!

Did you notice how the little bunny has embossing around him? I was able to leave the area around the bunny untouched by using a diffuser. For an easy to use diffuser, you can try the Tim Holtz Diffusers, but I wanted the non-embossed area to be lower on the card so I created my own diffuser for when I embossed the cardstock with Spellbinders’ Simplicity embossing folder.

Be sure to watch the video below to see how to use a diffuser. I also explain how I made it using 6 sheets of 120# Ultra Thick Cardstock (really just one and a half sheets since I cut them down). You can use chipboard or other thick materials for the diffuser as well. The key is to experiment and see what works best for you. :)

I colored in the cute bunny stamp from Paper Smooches with Inktense pencils. To add the goofy eyes, I used Ranger Enamel Accents.

Since I’ve been updating my blog pretty regularly with Holiday Card Series stuff, I haven’t had a chance to share all my Simon videos here. So today we’re going to get a plethora of card videos, many of which are holiday cards. :)

Enjoy!

May You Be Blessed (plus tips for Falling Stars Die)

For this card, I used the exclusive Simon Says Stamp Falling Stars die. I’ve heard from some of you that you’re having issues with indentations when using this die. Be sure to watch the video below for some tips on how to eliminate this issue.
