Friday Focus – One Layer Card #8

Hi all! Today’s card video is #8 in my One Layer Card Miniseries.

I wanted to use the new Petal Pieces stamp set and do some layered stamping. I ended up using a bunch of different colors: Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Lucky Limade, and Calypso Coral from Stampin’ Up!, Lime Pastel from Colorbox, and Butter Bar from Hero Arts. I also use a bit of Antique Linen Distress Ink to accentuate the partial embossing near the fold of the card.

The sentiment is from another new Simon Says Stamp stamp set, Inside & Out Sayings. The inside reads, “Including all the stuff you think about doing but run out of time.” :)

Anyhow, enjoy!

Friday Focus – One Layer Card #7

Today’s card is the seventh in the One Layer Card miniseries. :) Ever since I picked up the Sweet Disposition stamp set from Cosmo Cricket, I’ve been wanted to make a card using the camera stamp. So I thought today’s card and video would be the perfect time to break it out!

Truth be told, I ended up making this card five times. Five times! LOL! Sometimes you have an idea in your head and it takes multiple tries to get it just right. :)

Anyhow, enjoy!

Friday Focus – One Layer Card #6

Hi all! Today’s card is another installment in the One Layer Card miniseries for Friday Focus. :)

For this card, I only used one stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, Square Sayings. Because I wanted it to be pretty colorful, I used four inks from Hero Arts: Pale Tomato, Tide Pool, Butter Bar (which interestingly looks more orange because I double stamped it), and Soft Granite. Super quick and easy. The total time to complete this card was about 12 minutes!

Anyhow, enjoy!
