For this week’s card, I created a card using Bella Blvd’s Flirty stamp set. It’s an inexpensive stamp set with super cute flowers–completely irresistible, right?
Anyhow, I used almost every stamp in the set and a few different ink colors to make a card for a friend. The “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” sentiment is absolutely perfect.. I also used a hole punch on the edge of the kraft cardstock rectangle to make it sort of look like a postage stamp. :)
Enjoy, and thanks for watching!

For this week’s card, I really wanted to use a stamp set that I bought a while ago and have been waiting for the perfect moment to use. Stampin’ Up!’s Falling Leaves stamp set is so cute! I just love all the little leaves! I’d been reserving it for a thanksgiving type card, whatever that might be. :)
Anyway, in addition to the stamp set, I used some of Quickutz’ 4×12 adhesive cork sheets to diecut the letters for the sentiment. I used Stampin’ Up!’s Timeless Type Jr. for the letters and originally was concerned with them. Because the dies are Sizzlets and are chemically etched dies, they usually can’t cut thicker materials (steel rule dies are better for that sort of thing). However, the Sizzlets did just fine with the thinner cork. I was totally surprised and delighted they worked!
So, enjoy the video! :) Oh, and my “secret” project that I’ve been working on is getting closer and closer to completion. In fact, I’ve decided to move up the reveal date from November 16th to next Monday, the 2nd! I can’t wait for ya’ll see what I’ve got cookin’. :)
Thank you all so much for participating in my giveaway. There were a ton of you! Now I wish I had more than one set to giveaway! Maybe next time, right? :)
Anyhow, random.org picked the following comment number:

Congrats! I’ll be in contact with you to get your mailing address.
For this week’s card, I just had to use some of BasicGrey’s new Nook & Pantry collection! I’ve been eagerly waiting for this collection to come out since it debuted at CHA this summer. SO cute! For the card, I used the Cake stamp set (Hello? Build your own cupcake? I’m there!) and some of the papers from the collection pack. Super fun! (see more of Nook & Pantry here)
Oh, and before I forget… I have NO idea how I got that bow to look that good! One of life’s great mysteries, I guess! LOL! Usually my bows are passable, but this one cooperated beyond what I could expect. Hmm… I wonder what I did…
Anyhow, enjoy!

This week I made a pretty simple card with bright colors. Perfect for a child! Call me crazy, I love these little fruit face guys. So cute! They’re from Sassafras’ Me Likey collection. :)
Anyhow, I also tried a bit of different editing for the video. A bit more compact and succinct. Please leave a comment telling me if you like it better this way. It’s a bit quicker to edit, but not sure if ya’ll would miss all the little stuff in between. This was a super simple card, so maybe it just worked for this one.
Have a wonderful Monday!
NOTE: The paper in the background of the photo is the other side of the fruit paper. Pretty sweet, eh?
I’m constantly asked about envelopes. I’m a “simple Sally” when it comes to envelopes. I just use the generic white or vanilla envelopes that fit standard sized cards. However, not too long ago, I came across an envelope making template that looked pretty promising. I ordered it, tried it out, and now I want to show you all what it is. :)
The first template I show in the video fits a standard card (card size: 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″). And the smaller ones vary in size. You can purchase the Kreate-a-Lope and Kreate-a-Pockets at greensneakers.com. That’s where I bought them. However, shipping was extremely slow. It took over two weeks for my order to get to me. At one point I thought my order had been lost in the mail! LOL! :) I’m a bit impatient because Amazon has spoiled me with their super-speedy shipping. Anyway, you might google it and find other online retailers if you’re in a hurry to receive your templates. :)
I bought an extra set just in case it was a good product so that I could I have a giveaway. And it was a really great product! :) So, if you’d like a free set of these envelope templates, leave a comment on this entry. Only one comment per person, please.
