Minicards Review + GIVEAWAY!

Hi all! I’ve never been known to do reviews on non-papercrafting related items, but when contacted me–and I was curious about their minicards–I decided it would be the perfect time to try them out. I’ve known many people who order business cards from Moo, and I wanted to test it out for myself. And with CHA coming up next week, I needed business cards for my blog and YouTube channel, and also some info cards for Online Card Classes. :)

One of the most intriguing things about Moo’s offering is their Minicards. They’re basically half the size of your usual business cards. There’s just something about their unusual size that intrigues me.

I chose to design my cards from scratch and upload them to the Moo site, but for the less designer-y inclined, the site walks you through adding photos and text to your cards. They offer some pre-designed templates for you to base your cards on…

I love the idea of minicards for cardmakers or bloggers because for some reason they seem a bit more “friendly” than the usual business cards. LOL!

My order only took a couple days to arrive, so the printing turn around was pretty impressive. And I’m happy with the digital printing quality, too—vibrant and saturated. The paper used is thick and there’s a slight satin coating on it (I chose their classic cardstock with matte laminate). It feels really nice. :)

I ordered minicards for my blog and YouTube channel, and got the Moo Minicard Holder in black…

The holder can accommodate about 12 minicards and I love that I can slide it into the pocket of my purse. The holder protects the corners of the minicards so they won’t get bent during all the shuffling around of items in my purse.

For the Online Card Classes minicards, I got the Pink Felt Minicard Holder

It’s a plush felt pocket that accommodates about 12 minicards.

The price on these minicards is very reasonable (approximately $19.95 for 100 cards), especially considering you can add different photos to the back of the cards. For my personal minicards, I just had a few designs, but for the OCC minicards I used about 25 different sneak peek images of cards from our classes.

Giveaway! has offered prizes for a giveaway. Thanks, Moo! Just fill out the Rafflecopter area below for a chance to win 100 minicards courtesy of Moo. There will be three winners. :)

And a big thanks to Moo for allowing me to try out their Minicards. :)

  20. Thank you for sharing this info. This site looks amazing and I LOVE mini cards idea. I don’t sell my cards, either don’t own a shop or go to craft shows. But from time to time I’m thinking that it would be good to have some kind of card just in case. But I cannot design on my own, and regular business card companies usually offer boring designs with poor quality. So Moo is definitely interesting me.
    Thank you one more time!
