Happy Friday, all!
Today’s card was heavily influenced by Tim Holtz’s class Creative Chemistry 102 that happening currently at Online Card Classes this week. He’s been showing such fun techniques! I just had to try out some of the stuff he showed with Distress Paints and stencils.
For this card, I used five colors of Distress Paint (Seedless Preserves, Crushed Olive, Ripe Persimmon, Picket Fence, and Black Soot), and the new Shatter stencil. Since super grungy looks aren’t much my style, I love this way of edging the line of grungy but still keeping it fairly clean. And while keeping my fingers clean, too! YAY! Y’all know I have a thing with getting all inky. Thank heavens for the Craft Scrubbie, which can take all ink off my hands (great for calligraphy ink, too). My Craft Scrubbie has a permanent home by the sink in my guest bathroom (the bathroom closest to my craft room/office).
Anyhow, hope you all enjoy the video today! It was fun to try out some new techniques! :)
