Hi all! Today I’m participating in the Hero Arts 2014 Catalog Blog Hop! How could I resist super fun new stamps?! :)
They came out with some awesome stamps that are right on with the chalkboard trend, and although I think this stamp called Birthday Blackboard would look amazing stamped in white on black cardstock, I did the opposite so that I could color in the words…
I used Tim Holtz Distress Markers to color in the words and it was super easy! I stamped the image in Onyx Black VersaFine ink and then started coloring! I went past the edge of the letters quite a bit, but the black ink hides all the mistakes. Super easy to do and I think I’ll make 10 more of this exact card to have on hand in the new year. We all need lots of birthday cards, right?
Hero Arts will be giving away several prize packs to those who comments on the posts along the blog hop. So get to hopping and commenting on all the stops to increase your chance to win. :) Winners will be randomly chosen from ALL of the blog hop comments received by midnight PST on Sunday, December 22.
Your next stop on the hop is the lovely Lisa Spangler! Remember, if you find a link that doesn’t work, you can always hop back to the Hero Arts Blog for a list of direct links to all the blogs in the hop.
