Holiday Card Series 2013 – Day 25

Merry Christmas! Like I mentioned in yesterday’s video, the Day 25 video is going up early. :)

For the last card in the Holiday Card Series I wanted to use the SEAsons Greetings stamp set from Newton’s Nook. The octopus is my favorite! He’s so cute!

I wanted to watercolor around him, so I used Drawing Gum which is a liquid mask. It protected the octopus while I added Distress Ink as the background. I’ve used Drawing Gum in calligraphy before, but never on a card so I thought it was high time to break it out and show you guys what it can do! Be sure to watch the video to see how it works. :)

Enjoy!
