Friday Focus – Inspired By #10

Hi all! Happy Friday!

Today I’m creating another Inspired By card. I really think Inspired By cards are some of my favorite! :)

While I was looking around at Pinterest sometime this week, I came across this image of tulips and fell in love with the color palette and thought it would be perfect for a card. (The original image is from this blogger).

So I borrowed the colors from the photo and watercolored bands of color. It’s a very loose interpretation of the inspiration, but sometimes that’s the most fun!

To add interest to the card, I added a bit of stamping. The border stamps are from Mama Elephant’s On Point Borders stamp set (I filled in the stars border with a black pen), and the greeting stamp is from Lawn Fawn’s Chit Chat stamp set. I also used the coordinating dies to cut out the talk bubble shape. I drew the stitched line with the same black pen.

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back tomorrow for another card and video. Yes, on a Saturday! :)
