Friday Focus – Inspired By #11

Hi all! For Friday Focus this week I wanted to continue the Inspired By series. I love these cards! :)

My inspiration this week comes from a coffee mug I found on Pinterest. Sadly, the mug isn’t for sale anymore. After a bit of internet sleuthing, I discovered that it’s a mug designed by Petra Boase. I looked for the mug on her website but couldn’t find it.

So even though I didn’t use the same colors as the inspiration piece, I wanted to try stamping diagonal stripes with an offset seam. I thought it looked so cool!

I stamped the stripes with the Basic Stripes stamp set from Clearly Besotted and a bunch of Memento Luxe inks (see the exact colors in the supply list below). And the greeting is from Mama Elephant’s new Bountiful Blessings stamp set, and it was embossed in Ranger silver embossing powder.
