When I sat down to create a card earlier this, it was a bit of struggle. I just couldn’t get it to look the way I wanted it to. So truth be told, I stopped halfway through and set it aside. Then today I picked it back up and attempted to finish it. And I love how it turned out! This happened with Monday’s video as well–me not loving how the card was turning out at first. So if you’re not happy with how your card is turning out, try setting it aside for a bit and then return to it with a fresh eye. Sometimes it works to your benefit. :)
Anyhow, I used Paper Smooches new Lots of Love stamp set (SSS | PS) on this card, plus the diagonal border stamp from Hand Lettered Winter Wishes from Simon. The “I Love You” stamp was colored with Tim Holtz Distress Markers and then the color was smudged a bit by adding moisture from a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Pen. It was just enough to get the color moving a bit.
I hope you enjoy the video! :)
