CI #47 Round-Up

in Cards, Color Inspiration

HeyGood morning! Sorry I didn’t get this posted last night. Super tired and sleep won out. :)

Anyhow, while I was making my card yesterday all I could keep thinking was, “These colors are very… autumn looking?” LOL! I was tempted to put some leaves and a pumpkin on it! But instead, I used one of my new stamp sets from Sassafrass Lass, Collaged Trim. I discovered if you stamp it four times and make it into a frame, it’s the perfect size for a square 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ card. Pretty sweet!

I also used some chipboard letters from Maya Road and just pressed them into my Colorbox chalk ink pad in Chesnut Roan (my favorite, as you all know ;) Seriously, that ink pad is the best for coloring chipboard. I. Love. It. :)

And the person who commented that there were a lot of really great submissions was absolutely correct. I was going to narrow it down to my top ten, but I couldn’t do it! So I stopped narrowing it down and settled on my top twenty. Enjoy!

Hey, Kristina! Would you ever consider putting together your Color Challenges in a printable PDF? Just the inspiration photo & color swatch part together? Perhaps you could do them in groups of 10 or so to make them user-friendly. You know, like 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, etc.? I know I’d love to have them printed out for future reference. Just a suggestion! Keep up the great work! You help get the mojo going!
