We’re almost to #50–can you feel it?! Crazy to think we’ve done 49 of these, huh?
Anyway, this week’s color photo comes to us from my cousin Mandy, who is absolutely adorable. She picked up this fabric for a project and when I saw it on her blog and had to ask her right away if I could borrow the photo for a CI Challenge. Thanks, Mandy!
She told me the fabric info: Westminster Fibers #EM02 Poppy Dot Floral & #EM3 Flower Field, its the Park Slope collection by Eric McMorris. Just in case any of you wanted to run out and buy some. If I had a sewing machine, I’d be tempted to do so! :)
As usual, please keep me updated if you find a spam link. You’ve all been so great and contacting me whenever you find one and I so appreciate it. :)
TIP: To get the lighter versions of Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point, try “stamping off.” This technique is one I showed in last week’s Finally Friday video. It’s basically just inking up a stamp, stamping once on scratch paper, and then stamping on your project without re-inking. :)

The link to #24, Jamie, doesn’t work … it goes to http://www.whitehouse.com. Thought you’d like to know.
Ugh. I posted mine twice because I did it incorrectly the first time. I didn’t know about the permalinks – but I do now! Thanks for the lesson, and please delete my first posting. I promise never to do that again!

What a great colour combination. I would have never thought these colours would work together
Hi Kristina,
Great colours, just had to make time to play along. First time in a while!
First card design — this is the feminine version. thanks for inspiring creativity! Happy Easter.
This is the second color challenge I have particpated in. I am loving it. I almost didn’t think this one was going to work out for me. I don’t own any of the SU cardstock, but my eyes fell on my colorbox cat’s eyes fluid chalk inks and voila! It came together. Thanks for pushing me by giving us such great color challenges. Happy Easter!
Here is the second version, please, please, please click over and leave any advice on photographing tone on tone. Thanks! T.
I have so much fun with your color challenges! Thank you for hosting them. I got a little “distressed” this time… LOL

Hi Kristina,
finally I got to make a card this time.Stayed up whole night yestarday and worked an hour today morning.I do not know about stamping so I try to make my own stickers and paint using water colors.. I used 2 things more in a card like braclet and bookmark for my mom.She loves details and lots of uses for a card as we pour our emotions in it too.Pls have a look and give me advice.
Hi Kristina, This was a fun color week. All the cards were so creative. Where does everyone get those great ideas? I loved the last card with the little bird and the three ribbons. Like always, I’m look forward to the next challenge.
Missed the deadline. Here’s a link to my card if anyone would like to see. Love these colors Kristina!

I read that you will be postponing the #50 Color Challenge, but are you also postponing the #49 Color Roundup? Hope you are enjoying the new job, despite the long hours.
I would also like to know am I missing it somewhere on your blog where the #49 Color Roundup finalists are posted? Thx
