A Year in Cards - June 2009
(c) Two Peas in a Bucket

And I’m back for another post this morning. :)

My class for June just went live over at TwoPeas. You can see the video below, but go to the class page at TwoPeas to download a PDF with instructions, photos, and the envelope template. And join us on the message boards to talk about the class.

You can enter to win a TwoPeas gift certificate just by creating a project based on this class, too! There’s further instructions on the message board post (linked above). :)

Enjoy!

Kristina, The Good Lord must be twinkling you with the best and cutest inspiration for these gift cards! You never cease to surprise me with something bigger and better than before. I’m headed to the craft room now to try my hand at these gift cards. So grateful for your talent and time you spend sharing it with the cyber world. Thanks so very much!

Kristina,
You are SO creative. These envelopes are a great idea and perfect timing with graduations just around the corner! Love the papers you chose.

Kristina – are you getting a new I-phone? I thougth you already had one? I heard maybe they are coming out with a new one, so I’m trying to wait, but I think I’m going to give in soon…have you heard anything about a new i-phone?

Love all your cards!

Emily

Hi Kristina! Those gift card holders / cards are amazing. The “for you” is my favorite. So simple, but gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.

A quick question – How do you get your white gel pen to work so perfectly? When doing stiching and writing mine doesn’t seem to be as white as yours except when it pools at the end where I take the pen away from the page. Do you have any tips?? Thanks heaps!
Love your blog and videos!! And I’m a fan of your voice over rather than the music cause I love all the tips you give.
Thanks again

Hi Sarah! It probably depends on a couple things. First, you need a really good white gel pen. I would recommend either the Uni-ball Signo Gel Pen (sold by Stampin’ Up!), or the Ranger white gel pen (available at TwoPeas). Second, you might need to slow down. If I write too quickly, my gel pen does the same thing. :) Hope that helps!

Kristina,

Where did you get the templates for the gift card envelope?

Cathy June 27, 2009 at 2:39 pm

Never mind. I figured it out. Cute idea, by the way :-)

Cathy June 28, 2009 at 10:04 am

ok. I’ve tried looking for the template on the website. Can you tell me step by step how to look for it? Sorry for being such a bother :-(
