Rainbow Dots in Ink & Watercolor Markers

Hello all!

Today I have a card video for you featuring two cards–one created with only stamps, and the other created with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (and a greeting stamp). I thought it would be fun to create the same design in two different ways. :)

The inspiration for this card comes from a photo of some Easter eggs. Yes, Easter eggs! I’ve had an image from this blog post from The Sweetest Occasion pinned to a board at Pinterest for ages! It was time to create something based on it the cute, colorful image.

For the first card, I used some Waffle Flower ink colors and Simon’s Lots of Dots stamp set to create a row of colorful rainbow dots. (See the supply list below for the exact colors of ink I used).

Then I used equivalent colors of Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a Pentel Aquash brush to create watercolored dots.

I stamped and embossed small hearts from Simon Says Stamp’s Tons of Hearts stamp set on each heart. Then I used greetings from MFT’s Because You stamp set for the sentiment on each card.

I hope you enjoy today’s cards and video! They are definitely super simple and easy to create. In fact, I think I might make a few more and out birthday greetings on them instead. I can always use more birthday cards in my stash. :)
