Quick & Easy Ink Blended Card with Heat Emboss Resist + GIVEAWAY!

Hello, all!

Today I am joining Concord & 9th in celebrating their first anniversary! So I’m playing with some C&9 products to create a simple, easy card. This is a card design that can be adapted to many different stamps and color combinations.

Quick & Easy Ink Blended Card with Heat Emboss Resist + GIVEAWAY!

I used the Barnwood Background stamp and clear heat embossing to create a resist effect when I blended inks over the top (see the supply list below for exact ink colors). The clear heat embossing resists any of the ink and leaves the woodgrain texture white. I’ve always loved this technique. :)

To finish off the card, I used the Give Thanks stamp set and Rich Pale Gold embossing powder from Wow. I also applied some VersaMark to the edges of the background piece and the vellum so I could apply more gold embossing powder. The shine on the edges really help finish off the card.

I hope you all enjoy the video! Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this post for a chance to win a $20 gift card to Concord & 9th!
