You’re Turtley Awesome! – Zig Clean Color Markers & Paper Smooches

Happy Friday! Today I have a card for you featuring new stamps from Paper Smooches. I’ve always loved Paper Smooches animal stamps so I was excited to see some new critters in the Courteous Cuties stamp set. :)

You're Turtley Awesome! - Zig Clean Color Markers & Paper Smooches

I stamped the turtle and a couple fish on Strathmore Bristol paper and then colored the background and animals with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I’ve painted a water texture like this in the past on a mermaid card, and ever since then I’ve painted sea scenes like this.

To add some movement and direction to the card, I made sure to paint the water flowing in a downward motion. I think it really makes it look like they are swimming. :)

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video!

Love this video! I got this set yesterday in the mail, so I am going to play with your waves idea. I do not have enough Zig markers for this, but maybe my Spectrum Aqua will do something similar. I will have to use watercolor paper. Love this set.

So cute! I haven’t invested in any Zig markers yet but I’m sure that there are other techniques to make waves! Slowly adding new mediums to my crafting world!
