My Craft Room / Office

Yes, I’m finally posting a video of my craft room / office. :) I’ve come to terms with the fact that it will never be organized or clean enough to *not* embarrass me. LOL! Anyway, this is how I work. In chaos. :)

I also show you how I set up my camcorder for filming, which has to be one of the most asked questions. Oh, and here are the storage items mentioned (there aren’t many):

Clip it Up (This is a all the Clip It Up stuff at TwoPeas. I have the Base Unit and the Upper Tier Add On)
Expedit Bookcase (link is to US Ikea store)
Expedit Bookcase Desk (link is to US Ikea store)

  1. I finally got to see your craft room and I just loved it. fianlly after seeing you make all these cards I got to see your room where you make all these cards in. You thought your table was bad?? Mine is worse. lol. but hey, look at the cards one can give away to a person to make them happy. that is what I do. put them in a box and when i need a card really quick to send I have it.your room is great and thank you. Love to know how do one store wood mounted stamps also.

  2. yes! it’s okay to be messy as long as i know where everything is it’s fine!! Thanks so much for sharing your craft room and your storage methods.

  3. OMG! I feel so much better about my “creative” area! If you transported that work area to my basement, it would look exactly like mine does now – from the pile of random stuff all over the desktop right down to the same rubbermaid drawer boxes! When I’m down in my little cave for very long, I find myself working in literally a 9″ x 9″ square of desktop!

  4. Super fun! A REAL craft room!
You might want to check out Organizemore.com for a stamp pad shelf if you haven’t already. I have the combo type, it’s for ribbon and ink pads. I love it!

  5. Gosh, now I don’t feel so bad…. I think I have to let my husband see your craft room so that he knows – it’s NOT JUST ME! Surprising how we can normally find what we are looking for in a reasonably short amount of time.

I think I might have to check into that add-on desk for the IKEA bookcase-type-thing.

Thanks SO MUCH FOR SHARING WITH US!

  6. You know what they say . . . “a creative mess is better than tidy idleness”! My space frequently looks like a bomb blew up in it, but I don’t feel too bad after seeing yours! If someone as brilliant as you can work in a messy space, I’m in good company! :) TFS!

  7. It’s not as messy as you think. Your office chair is the same type we have at my job. I hate it, it always feels like your going to slide forward off of it. It’s supposed to be good for your posture and back but I don’t think so.

  8. You’re a mess! I love it. Thanks for sharing.
I feel so less bad now about my space!
