Good morning, everyone!
Today’s card features Ranger’s Inkssentials Embossing Pen. I saw it demonstrated over at the American Crafts blog a while back by Kelly Purkey and was intrigued by it. I’ve tried embossing with the VersaMarker, but it just dried so fast that I couldn’t get a clean image with the embossing powder. But this pen is pretty awesome and does exactly what I wanted the VersaMarker to do. :)
Anyhow, enjoy!
Congrats – Stampin’ Up! card stock in Kraft; Ranger Inkssentials Embossing Marker; Stampin’ Up! white embossing powder; Heidi Grace heart sticker; We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper; Uni-ball Signo Broad Gel Pen.

cute, cute, cute!
Hi, I love your work and the videos are a real inspiration to get started. I noticed you use a corner rounder that gives u multiple sizes. What brand of puncher is that? Most of the ones I’ve seen comes in just one size.
It’s the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. :)
Hey Kristina-
I just wanted to say Thanks so much for enabling me on another purchase….I ordered my corner Chomper from my LSS yesterday and now I’ll be stocking the man in Brown until it arrives at the shop….Monday maybe…OH I hope! When ever the Man in Brown arrives on a Monday Morning the women in the class cheer, yell and scream because he has brought more presents! LOL This man is a red head and his face turns so flaming red when we do that it is so funny! So looking forward to my new toy…
Love your work – seriously cool!!
Just a couple of quick questions – I’m sure you get a heap but here’s another two!!
1. Do you always draw a sketch before you start making a card or do you sometimes just go for it and see what happens??
2. Did you buy your card sketch book from somewhere and if so, where can I get one??
Keep up the good work!
Answers:
1. No, not always. Just if I feel like I need a bit more direction before I start.
2. I made it myself using the printable PDF in this entry: http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/?p=1672
Thanks!!! :)
cute card! glad to know that there is an embossing marker that works well. i thought maybe the versamarker was more of a user error.
fantastic card! at first glance, I totally thought that was a stamp!
me too!
Awesome as usual!
that’s adorable and so fun! WHERE did you get the embossing pen??? i looked on 2peas. can you get it at a local craft store?
I answered the previous commenter, but… I found mine at a local craft store. Sorry I can’t help you more! :)

Hi! I bought mine from ebay. I bought the one that comes in a set of two – one is a ball point type and the other is like a brush pen. Thanks.
Great Card! I want to know, too. Where can I get the embossing pen?
Good morning Kristina,
I loved your card! Yesterday I was working with my embossing pen & you’re right because it was getting dry too quickly, I was getting frustrated! I like the way the pen you used looked wet the whole time, I wish I had that pen yesterday, my life would’ve been a whole lot easier!!! I also tried looking @ 2 peas for the pen & couldn’t find it?
I found my pen at a local craft store. I don’t think twopeas sells it.
Absolutely awesome!!! That pen is a must have!! Wish I had your doodling and callygraphy skills though :)
This is such a stinking adorable card! I love it!
How cute, love this card. Your graphic design skills and creativity really shine through. Jo x
Hey Kristina 0
In addition to this card being awesome, I love your blog and was wondering if you had any websites or tips that I could use in designing my own blog? I don’t come from an IT or graphic design background so something that’s not too “techy” would work.
Thanks!
Super cute card!
Very cute! I love your handwriting, you’re so talented!
loved it!
SO cute! :) I love all your cards!
cute card and i love your handwriting!
I love it! So sweet and simple :)
I absolutely completely LOVE this!!!! I have made a few cards with my own sketches and my crafty buds didn’t seem to know what to think… a card without stamps, huh?? Maybe it was because I cannot draw like you! LOL! You’ve started a whole new trend, girl, and I LOVE it!! And I SOOOO need to take some handwriting courses. I don’t even like signing my own cards. :-(
Hey Kristina,

If your doing a give away on twitter, how about the embossing pen.
Hi Kristina,
I saw on your Twitter that you filmed a white pen comparison/review video. Where can we watch that? I would love to see the results. Thanks for all your creativity!
I haven’t posted it yet. Patience, my friend. :)
Cute card. I liked this technique; I agree, it’s a great way to be creative.
Lovely card, as always!
I’ve a question about the Coluzzle, I heard Provo Craft won’t make them any more and I still need the circle and oval template!!! Can’t find them anywhere.
You might check out ebay.com. I’ve heard there are a lot of Coluzzle templates there. :) Good luck!
Love it, so simple and fun. you are a master of faux stitching!!!!!
Bounce sheet… brill!
