These cards are to cute! I appreciate the simple but extra touches like the embroidery thread and embossing – they just put all 3 cards over the top! Great work.

Love these halloween cards!!! I have to say my favorite is that mega pumpkin.

Kristen September 16, 2009 at 7:11 am

Are you kidding me? That ghost is so stickin’ cute. Great job. I was wondering when you were going to start using a black pen for stitching. Any of the Sakura opaque pens work for stithing as well and they come in a rainbow of colors. They make great bold line. I can’t remember what they are called though all I remember is that there is a cupcake on the package. Try them out though.

Vickie September 16, 2009 at 8:37 am

I adore these cards! I’m not a Halloween fan, but I love the pumpkin and can totally see how to tailor these cards to other themes — thanks for all the “wonderful” your blog oozes!

Vickie September 17, 2009 at 8:54 am

hmmmm — at first I thought the cards you made in the picture were actually embellishments for the polka-dot “base card” as they look perfect on the background you used in the picture. Love ‘em

I love the technique used on the pumpkin. Could you do a birthday cake like that?
