MACM – Sweet

Super fast note this morning… heading out to work.
This week’s card took a LONG long time to make. I’m sure you can imagine how long it took to make the paper pieced plaid pattern, right? Yep. It took a long time. Although… I have some ideas on how to make it quicker. Stay tuned for that. :)
I used Sassafras’ Delicious Felties as inspiration for the card. Aren’t they cute?! And paired up with some Halloween chipboard stickers? Yes, Halloween! They’re American Crafts Hocus Pocus Thickers. :)
Anyhow, enjoy!

September 28th, 2009 at 12:08 pmCute Cute! Love those felties! I know you have said this before, but I was curious what paper cutter you use? I have a fiskars little arm cutter and it doesn’t quite cut straight enough. I need to start dropping hints to my hubby for Christmas!
Just updated my FAQ to answer your question. I also posted the info in a new entry. :)

September 28th, 2009 at 3:38 pmSometimes I wish that I hadn’t discovered you until just today, so I could go back to the beginning of all your videos (again) and watch them all brand new to me. :) Beautiful work as always. What I really like with this one is showing how to use tools and just plain paper, especially good when you are trying to use up little scraps and bits. Great job.

That’s such a ’sweet’ card! Love how you can use up scraps on the plaid pattern, but gosh – you have to have so much patience to adhere all those teeny tiny strips! :-)
