Good morning, all!
I’m so excited to share my “secret” project with you all! A few months back, I was trying to think of something I could do here for all of you for the holidays and got the crazy idea to create 25 videos of holiday cards. Crazy, right? I was all, “Naaa… only do 12. It’s easier.” But then I started wondering if I could actually do it. And don’t tell me I can’t do something because then I’ll want to do it even more! And so… here we are!
2009 HOLIDAY CARD SERIES: For the next five weeks, November 2 through December 4, there will be a new video posted here on each weekday (Monday – Friday). On Fridays, you’ll get a HCS video and a Finally Friday video. ;)
This project was totally fun to do, but as soon as December 4th comes around, it’s back to business as usual. Seriously, I don’t think I want to attempt to do something like this again for a long LONG time. LOL! And hopefully ya’ll won’t get sick of me posting a new video every day! :)
Anyhow, enjoy!
NOTE: Check the supply list below for links to the font I used. :)

A daily card video?! Talk about having an early Christmas gift! THANK YOU KRISTINA. You might think it’s a crazy idea on your part but it sure is a fabulous treat for all of us :D
I tried to imagine what your surprise might be. I never imagined something this HUGE. Thank you bunches. Well done.
oooh my christmas gift arrived very early this year!!! everyday??? really??? LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
HEY KRISTINA… WHICH KIND OF PRINTER DO YOU HAVE ???? I BELIVE IS A SPECIAL ONE.. WOULD DO MIND LET ME KNOW.
THANKS !! LOVING YOUR VIDEOS EVERY SECOND.. AND WATCHING THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN…
Actually, I don’t have a special printer. Just a 5-year-old Epson all in one printer. :) I also have a small Epson PictureMate printer for scrapbook photos. It’s also old, about 4 years old. :)
Wow! You’re amazing! I can’t even begin to imagine the time you’ve put into this! My kids love watching your videos…often my husband will come home from work and we’ll be sitting on the couch watching your videos. This will be great motivation for me to get busy on my own Christmas cards.
If you get a chance, will you take the time to comment on why you switched to the Cricut? Thanks!
I switched to a Cricut purely because of the size. Silhouette’s cannot cut 12×12 paper, while the Cricut can. :)
WOW.. Thank YOU!! Great fun for us all. I will be tuning in. Merry Christmas!!
Wow Kristina, like someone elso said “Christmas came early this year” whoo hooo!! I can’t wait to get up each morning & have my cup of coffee with you & your wonderful videos showcasing your beautiful work!!! Thank you very much for taking time out of your busy schedule to do this for all of us!!!

Hi Kristina – So loving the surprise this morning! Question – I’ve been trying to get my SCAL to cut from my cricut create but I keep getting the firmware version error. It should be 1.5.1and my cricut is 1.5.0. Do you know of where i can download the correct firmware without having to buy the cricut design studio and do you think I need them both?
Unfortunately, you will have to get the Cricut Design Studio to update your firmware. However, the good news is you can do it with the trial version of the software. :) Just go to the cricut website and download the software. I think you get a 30-day trial. Just update the firmware within those 30 days and then uninstall the program from your computer and you’ll be back in business. :) Hope that helps!
Oh awesome! I’ll try that tonight! Just bought that font also! You are so inspiring, as if you didn’t know that already…DUH! LOL!
woo hoo! I am excited to come over to your blog everyday for the next lil bit to watch a new video!

I have a 25 days of Xmas project in place (to start late this month), but only ideias, not videos!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I’ll be here everyday, this IS a gift!!! Thank you!!!
Great idea and G-R-E-A-T work (as usual!!). Love, love, love your ideas! I have more to look forward to each day (for awhile) now with your card ideas!! Yippeee!!!
wow! chic! U totally rock!! What a way to relax and watch you every day now for 25 days after a loooooong 12 hour shift at the hospital!! YES!!
Question about the Paper Trey Ink pads, are they like the Color Box chalk inks you use? Good quality?
I think they’re a hybrid ink… not sure what of, though. LOL! The regular colors sort of remind me of SU inks (dye-based inks), but the white and cream colors are really awesome. Much better than SU’s craft ink which never seems to dry. Hope that helps! :)
YAY!!! 25 cards and videos from you is such a treat! And your made me speechless with this fabulous first card! wow! i LOVE it! I am looking forward to the next 24 days!!! Thank you so much for sharing!
