Day 5 – Holiday Card Series – Three Ornaments

NOTE: There is also a Finally Friday video today. Check it out!
Here we are at the end of the first week! Can you believe it? Today’s card uses a stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Tree Trimmings. I love this stamp set because of the shapes of the ornaments–so traditional and endearing. Love them! And ornaments really are a simple and elegant image on cards, aren’t they? :)
The Holiday Card Series will pick back up on Monday with Day 6. :)
NOTE: I’ve received a LOT of questions about the music included in the videos. It is a 10-second clip of royalty-free music I purchased online. It’s not a real song from an album. :)
Watch video below | Watch at Youtube
Three Ornaments – Stampin’ Up! cardstock in Naturals Ivory; Stampin’ Up! inks in Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, and So Saffron; Stampin’ Up! Tree Trimmings stamp set; Stampin’ Up! Chocolate Chip marker; Ranger Stickles Glitter in Silver.

Oh my goodness! LOVE this! Love the ‘non- traditional’ color palette! Thanks, Kristina!

November 6th, 2009 at 3:40 pmOh, I so wish that you had a book on how to learn your handwriting. I just love it – and that SU set from 2 days ago – love it too!
November 6th, 2009 at 4:10 pmI am loving the Holiday card series. Thank you for putting so much time into it. I will be so very sad when it ends.
Thanks again…
November 6th, 2009 at 5:11 pmBefore I even watch the video I have to say what a pretty card!
November 6th, 2009 at 5:29 pmI have an idea… how about creating a font of your handwriting and selling it???? Kind of like the virtual card club??? So many people love your handwriting. I saw a website where you can download your own handwriting to create a font: http://kevinandamanda.com/fonts/fontsforpeas/how-do-i-use-these-fonts/
There’s a section of my FAQ that covers my handwriting as a font. :) Click here.
Oh – now I remember reading that. Thanks.
This is a beautiful card. I love the ornaments.
November 6th, 2009 at 7:25 pmI love your handwriting. I would buy a stamp set of your handwriting. The card is so beautiful. Adding the stickles made it just pop.
November 6th, 2009 at 7:55 pmLove your “free hand” style writing and embellishment of details! You inspire me so much!!!
November 6th, 2009 at 8:41 pmLove the card! I especially love the “Noel.” Wish it was a stamp as I am definitely going to need to practice a lot before my handwriting looks like that. I would also buy a stamp set of your handwriting.
November 6th, 2009 at 10:31 pmI love the fact that it is a simple card but with lots of impact.
November 7th, 2009 at 4:55 amEveline.

November 7th, 2009 at 11:53 amFabulous creation, Kristina!
November 7th, 2009 at 12:22 pmThis card is fantastic, thank you for sharing a Christmas card a day with us! Also, are you designing for Basic Grey? the preview of new collections on their home page totally looks like your style. If so, I can’t wait to see! I’m sure I’ll love it!
November 7th, 2009 at 1:55 pmI rally am loving the christmas videos.
November 7th, 2009 at 11:24 pmNot sure if they’re all done or not. But I really prefer the cards that are “live,” the ones that are not voiced-over. It’s really nice to hear your though process through it all. It’s part of the creative process I think we like to watch.
No biggie if none were made that way, just a personal preference.
LOVE the series, love your creativity, love ALL your cards!! Thank you so much!
~Milly
WOW what a simple little card that you made look so elegant! Love it!
November 8th, 2009 at 8:32 amThank you so much for all the cards. I appreciate all the work that you put into this. On the days I can’t get to do anything more crafty than ironing, it’s nice to be able to come here for about 5 minutes and see what you’ve been up to.
November 8th, 2009 at 6:47 pmCongratulations… I love all your creations. You have an unique style. Beautiful!!!!
November 10th, 2009 at 12:43 pmAwesome they say another mans junk is another man treasures!! This all looks great and thank you doe your awesome site

Hi,
November 16th, 2009 at 6:39 amThis is the best site I’ve found. Ive learned so much in card making from you. To stay organized, it;s hard but I go through my material about once a month. What I don’t use, I give it to someone who could use it.
