Holiday Card Series - Day 6

Good morning, all! I hope your weekend was fabulous. We’re going to jump right back into the Holiday Card Series with a circle card. :)

I used the Colorful Christmas collection pack from My Mind’s Eye for this card. You’ll remember the collection from day 2. And I also used my Card Shapes digital cutting kit to cut the circle pieces with my Cricut. Anyhow, enjoy!

NOTE: I’ve received a LOT of questions about the music included in the videos. It is a 10-second clip of royalty-free music I purchased online. It’s not a real song from an album. :)

love it as always!

Quirky November 9, 2009 at 9:31 am

I think I might have an idea why there’s the place to punch a hole on the snowman’s head…. I think it’s so that it can be used as a tag :)

Love your card as always :)

Kristina Werner November 9, 2009 at 10:37 am

I thought about that, too. Hmm… he would make a pretty cute tag, huh? :)

Quirky November 9, 2009 at 6:05 pm

Definitely! He’s already a cutie! … so he would practically make a cute anything! :P

Stephanie November 9, 2009 at 9:35 am

Love this card. I bought your DigiKit a while ago and love it too. Thanks for your great ideas!

Angie November 9, 2009 at 9:47 am

Cute card, and that snowman is cute. Was the snowman suppose to originally be a tag? (with the cutout in the his head?)

Kristina Werner November 9, 2009 at 10:38 am

Quirky mentioned that above, too. And I think you two are on to something. I like he was supposed to be a tag. :)

Katy November 9, 2009 at 10:50 am

Cute card! I have two questions. Do you usually hand write your sentiment inside of the card and how do you design a digital kit?

Keep those cards a-comin!!

Kristina Werner November 9, 2009 at 10:54 am

Yes, I usually write personalized messages inside. As far as designing digital kits, you have to design the files on your computer within a design program or programs. Most use Adobe Creative Suite.

Can you tell us the title of the track and which royalty free music website you purchased it at?

Kristina Werner November 10, 2009 at 7:26 am

It’s 12 Days of Christmas, and unfortunately, I don’t recall where I bought it from…. Hmmm… Maybe royaltyfreemusic.com? So sorry! I can’t remember! I bought it way back in the middle of the summer.

Billie Anderson November 9, 2009 at 8:00 pm

Kristie November 9, 2009 at 11:15 pm

cute, cute, cute!!!

Erin Bohland November 10, 2009 at 6:02 am

I have that die cut sheet and looked at the snowman. It looked like maybe they made that slit so you could possibly hang it from the tree or something like that.

Winter November 10, 2009 at 7:42 am

So cute! I have to get that cutting program for my Cricut! :)

Noelle November 10, 2009 at 8:29 am
