Giveaway

PLEASE READ! NOTE: Some of you are leaving multiple comments–sometimes by replying to your own message because you forgot to answer the question. Please remember you only get one comment. Make it count. If I find that you have commented twice, you will be eliminated from the drawing. After random.org picks a winner, I always double check to make sure there aren’t multiple comments submitted. If there are, they are disqualified and I move onto another winner.

Hi all!

I’m spending the afternoon cleaning up my craft room. I’m literally buried under all this scrapbooking product! Ahhh! Because I do stuff for TwoPeas, I need to keep my craft stash pretty fresh. That means I go through product pretty quickly. Anyhow, I need to make room for a couple reasons… First, so I can think. ;) Second, so I can buy new things, which I’m constantly doing.

So, if you want to win this HUGE box of free goodies, leave a comment on this entry (and this entry ONLY, please–just click on “comments” at the end of this post and then scroll to the very bottom and you can leave a comment) telling me how you stay organized, or how you “attempt” to stay organized. LOL! :) Only one comment per person, please. Comments close at 7:00 MT on MONDAY 11/16. (This is change of deadline. There were SO many comments, it was becoming cumbersome for my readers to let the page load and then scroll to the bottom. I apologize for the inconvenience and unexpected change in plans).

NOTE: If you’ve never commented here before, most likely you comment will be in pending until I can approve it. But no worries, I’ll push it through before the winner is randomly chosen. Thanks for your patience! :)

In case any of you wanted to find the products I show in the video, here are some links to some of the things I showed in the video. NOTE: If the item is currently sold out or no longer in the store, I linked to items from the collection that are available separately:

I am super organized and I like to have everything in plain view. I use a system of cork boards to pin embellishment packages to them. It works really well and it’s pretty cheap too.

Diana November 16, 2009 at 8:02 pm

Well my desk just stays a mess during the week, but on the weekend I ATTEMPT to at least put everything away. I need a clean desk to “restart” my creative process.
I have a cute antique pie safe in my card making room that I have lots of baskets for pattern paper and jars that are color coded for ribbon. All my friends think it looks like an adult version of a candy store.
I have a book shelf type of thing that has square cubbie holes to put cardstock, copics, stamps and card making magazines. I have the tools to stay organized it is just the energy to stay organized that is a challenge!

Giovana November 16, 2009 at 8:02 pm

WOW!! This is a wonderful giveaway Kristina! I try to clean up every time I do some craft work, and of course I am saving money to buy some furniture in IKEA!!

Thanks for the chance to win! I would love to win :)

God bless
Giovana

oh, boy. i try. every once in a while a do a big sweep. otherwise, it seems to pile up. for a bit, a put little things away and have tons, so it gets crazy. i feel you, sister!

Jackie November 16, 2009 at 8:03 pm

I try to have a “home” for everything– a storage container, pocket, shelf area, etc. That helps, but mostly I make myself clean up after every big project! Soooo hard after a marathon session, but worth it in the long run! Love your stuff!

angela November 16, 2009 at 8:04 pm

Hi! I “try” to stay organized by using a paper divider for my papers, mason jars for my buttons and flowers, i have my ribbon in a rubbermaid shoebox, and keep misc embeelies and small stuff in a tacklebox like unit. then, for really small stuff (brads, eyelets, etc) i took an old spice rack and put things in space jars.

thank you for this oppertunity!

Toia November 16, 2009 at 8:06 pm

Wow, that is a big box!! Thank you so much for taking time out of your life to post these amazing videos!!! You rock!

Esther Mikul November 16, 2009 at 8:06 pm

I stay organized by using plastic drawer storage units.
I put everything according to categories in baskets in the drawers.
Eg. all my inks in one basket. All my stamps in one basket etc.
Thank you for all your great ideas on your blog. They are very helpful.
Esther Mikul.

I have one simple rule for staying organized. I make sure that each craft supply has a place – especially to be stored with like items. The hard part is the disciple to make sure each piece stays in place when not in use. I work hard to keep organized, but the pay off is great – I don’t have any trouble keeping up with my stuff!

Angela November 16, 2009 at 8:08 pm

I keep my supplies and office area organized by using rubbermade storage containers and plastic drawer storage containers. One day I would love to have a room entirely devoted to my craft supplies and working area. Thanks for this opportunity and for all your great ideas! Ang

I think for all you do you are very organized. I feel so lucky to even have a chance at this. I LOVE YOU EVEN MORE NOW. Thx. for having such a big heart for your fans.

JoAnn McKenzie November 16, 2009 at 8:12 pm

Ronnie November 16, 2009 at 8:19 pm

Hi Kristina! I love your blog and have been following it for a looooong time. I try to keep my craft room organized by using every kind of organizer known to woman, and using cabinets, which only keeps it out of sight. You’d think I would stop buying but I just want to help keep the economy going!

Lesley November 16, 2009 at 8:21 pm

I love all the stuff you do on your blog and Youtube. I’ve been watching you for a few months now and you’ve really inspired me to get into stamping and card making. Love what you do and I can’t wait to see more.

Maureen P November 16, 2009 at 8:22 pm

eeek! I just read this post and it said it was still open!! I’ve been busy writing report cards so have mercy!! LOL I try to stay organized by using baggies for paper scraps, bins and “moving the merchandise.” I sell my old SU sets at garage sales :) Thanks for the chance to win :)

Julienne November 16, 2009 at 8:23 pm

I like to use folder for my papers and what not.

Dina November 16, 2009 at 8:23 pm

I have a rack on my wall that I hang things from and then I can see all my things at a glance.

Allison November 16, 2009 at 8:25 pm

Well, I just love your videos :)
Plus also I would love to win.

Kelly Miller November 16, 2009 at 8:27 pm

I try to stay organized by keeping like things together in labelled boxes and drawers that I got at IKEA – the kind with the little metal tag holder on the front. I can find all my stamps, ink, punches etc, but my paper is a mess!

Rowena November 16, 2009 at 8:27 pm

That’s alot of stuff you don’t want !
Thanks for giving away so much!!!
i just keep on cleaning my desk after a few weeks to re-organize everything all at once! might as well clean it all at once than 10 times everyweek! XD

Mandy November 16, 2009 at 8:29 pm

I clean my work space everytime after i finish doing a craft just for the heck of not losing anything! If i don’t i’ll always lose things !

Bonnie November 16, 2009 at 8:30 pm

First of all THANK YOU for the opportunity to win all your extra goodies. Im fairly new to the scrapbooking/cardmaking world but I have figured out that if I cant see it I dont use it so all my stuff is in see through containers and drawers that fit nicely on my bookself. It works for me. Thanks again.

Vivienne November 16, 2009 at 8:33 pm

Claudinne November 16, 2009 at 8:35 pm

jennifer November 16, 2009 at 8:41 pm

Karen Pelkey November 16, 2009 at 8:42 pm

I gotta tell you. You have lots of stuff. LOL Don’t we all. I don’t know how you can part with any treasures, I know I wouldn’t be able to do. Thanks for sharing with your followers. I am an avid watcher and love your how to videos. They are so real. Thank You

natalie November 16, 2009 at 8:43 pm

I try to be as organized as possible but most of the time i just leave everything there until i can see my desk anymore. It’s a good way to stay organized cause you actually get the motivation to clean!
Thanks for the giveaways! it’s really appreciated !

Lorie Bohnstedt November 16, 2009 at 8:47 pm

I love drawers for keeping myself organized. I have them everywhere in my scraproom. The “Clip-It” was a life saver for me. I love it!

Monica Saenz November 16, 2009 at 8:48 pm

This is an awesome way of sharing scrapbook items with others! I stay organized by simply buying what I need for that particular project. I print my pictures for 5-6 events at a time, find a cool design or idea for each one of my pages, and buy only the things I need for those particular pages….less is better! Every item has a place in my scrapbook rolling tote and it stays that way….that way I know where everything is at the next time I need it. Hope my advice helped! Thanks!

Christina S November 16, 2009 at 8:51 pm

Hi! I just spent this weekend organizing my second guest room into a real craft room. Before, I had stuff all in the basement, no organization at all. Now I have very pretty white modular cubes and everything in one place – just in time to win a box of goodies! Thanks so much for doing this. Regards, Christina S.

Barbara Santee November 16, 2009 at 8:53 pm

Thank you so much for all you do…you are very talented and have help me this last year get through some very tough times by keeping me busy every night. But as you know and I know you will never be completely organized….it’s not in a scrapper’s blood! Keep up the great work. :-) Happy to be 2834 on your blog!!!!!

TRICIA B. November 16, 2009 at 8:53 pm

hooholey smo

Ashley November 16, 2009 at 8:54 pm

WOW! What a box! As far as my organizing tip…I (most of the time) clean up after each and every project. And have a place for everything to go so it’s quick to do so. That way I don’t get overwhelmed by eveything that is out and lose my creative mojo.

Thanks for your blog! It’s fabulous!

Jason November 16, 2009 at 8:58 pm

woo hoo, i would love to get some free stuff!!

Edna November 16, 2009 at 8:59 pm

I do exactly what you do…. clean up (about three times a year) and pass on to others in the papercraft world… it is always good to get inspiration from purchases made by others, makes you think outside your own square… thanks for cleaning out your space, I also think better with less stuff around!! Go Kristina!!!!

Rebekah November 16, 2009 at 9:03 pm

I love the Indian Summers collection pack!

Laura November 16, 2009 at 9:06 pm

What a mouth-watering assortment! I think I’ve missed the deadline, but I’ll take a chance anyway.

Coraline November 16, 2009 at 9:09 pm

I try to stay organized with cute boxes that i have been collecting all these years, but it is almost impossible. Thanks for being such an inspiration!

Mary Donovan November 16, 2009 at 9:09 pm

I do EXCATLY what you are doing now. Every so often, I take stock of what I have, make some choices, then pack up a box or two and take it to work. There, I offer it to other card makers and scrap bookers as a give-a-way. So many sweet ladies have shared with me as I was getting started. I want to “pay it forward” and backward as often as I can. I can almost always come up with a box or two. I helps keep me unloaded, and gives me space and the freedom to stay current, rather than carrying the burden of feeling like I MUST use what I have before I can get something new. Thanks for your creative spirit. You give me a boost twice every week. :)

Melissa November 16, 2009 at 9:11 pm

Wish I could have made it in time :( My strategy is everything has its place and goes back into its place at the end of the crafting session

Amalia November 16, 2009 at 9:12 pm

I hope I’m not too late! I try to keep myself organized by cleaning up my area after each project. I also try to purge stuff a couple times a year. My 10 year old niece is a scrapbooker so anythings I’m willing to part with she is willing to take! Thanks for the chance to win!

Nadia November 16, 2009 at 9:17 pm
