Amazon Kindle for sale
One of my good friends is selling an Amazon Kindle 1. And since ya’ll know I love my Kindle (I love Kindles so much, I sold my Kindle 1 to fund a purchase of a Kindle 2 back in February) and can’t say enough good things about it, I offered to see if any of my blog buddies wanted to take it off her hands. :)

Condition of Kindle: Purchased in late 2008. Very lightly used. She says that they took the Kindle on a vacation where her husband read one book on the way there, and she read one on the way back home. Other than that, it’s been used only a small amount. The cover is also in excellent condition.
Price: $175 + shipping
Payment: I’m only accepting PayPal payments on behalf of my friend.
I am only selling to someone in the US, as the Kindle 1 doesn’t work outside the US.

I am curious about the Kindle…is it basically a way to read books without having to tote the books around? How expensive is it to download the books?
