Holiday Card Series - Day 18

Good morning, all! I have another ornament card for you today. It looks similar to other ornament cards i’ve made, but I think the main concept can be used over and over, changing it to go with whatever supplies you have on hand. :)

For these ornaments, I used paper from Fancy Pants Design’s Christmas Magic kit (which is back in stock at TwoPeas, so if you were looking for the transparency from Day 9, you can buy it in this kit). There’s a really pretty patterned paper in the kit with these ornaments on it. They were just calling out to be cut out for a card, wouldn’t you say? :) I also paired it up with some Silver Liquid Pearls.

Enjoy!

NOTE: I’ve received a LOT of questions about the music included in the videos. It is a 10-second clip of royalty-free music I purchased online. It’s not a real song from an album. :)

If only my cut-out ornaments looked so perfect LOL it’s a lovely card and great design idea – Have a fun Thanksgiving (in case I don’t get a chance to check your blog tomorrow …) Marta

I’ve got to get my hands on those liquid pearls! I love the idea with the string too!

Here’s a “Happy Thanksgiving!!”, just in case I can’t get on tomorrow morning. If anything I’ll just say it again! :P

Great idea to use Liquid Pearls…I remember when you shared the “flick” tip to remove the peak! Have a Happy Turkey Day! Hey, what color are you wearing on your nails? It looks like it would wear well for someone like me with fair skin.

Another winner Kristina! I think the faux stitching just sets everything off. I admire your ability in cutting things out – mine never looks as good as yours.

Terrific card! Love that you’ve used pp – a good reminder that basic supplies with a great imagination can make for a very pretty card (not just the latest/greatest (often expensive) tool)! Thanks for the ongoing inspiration!
