Virtual Card Club – December 2009

Virtual Card Club - December 2009

Hello, all!

Can you believe I finally created another Virtual Card Club? It’s been crazy busy around here with the Holiday Card Series and all. Hope ya’ll will forgive me for leaving you hanging! :)

I’ve been wanting to do some sort of recipe card thingy for a few months now, and I’m so happy with how this turned out. It’s a sort of recipe “fan.” Basically, it’s recipe cards and a cover that are attached at one corner with a brad. Then you can fan out all the recipes. Pretty cool, eh? I thought it would be an awesome extra little something to include with holiday treats that you might be giving away to neighbors and friends. So, in the VCC file, you’ll get instructions to make the holiday recipe fan, plus the 6×4 recipe cards to print out.

But then, what about non-holiday recipes and such? That’s when I decided to throw in a bonus recipe fan cover:

Alternate cover
Size: 6″ x 4″
File formats: SVG, AI, EPS, JPG, PNG

This alternate cover is great for those of you with digital cutters (Silhouette, Cricut, etc). And if you don’t have a digital cutter, you can simply use the jpeg or png in a photo editing software to make it whatever color you’d like and print out. Easy peasy! :)

Anyhow, this VCC features a whole slew of files all in one Zip file:
– 5 page PDF with large photos, instructions for cutting out the recipe cards and assembling the holiday treat fan, and recipe cards to print out
– Alternate cover in SVG, SCUT (for SCAL), AI, EPS, JPG, and PNG

What is Virtual Card Club?
For those of you new to VCC, it’s the way I share my in-real-life card club with all of my blog readers. Not only do you get to follow along with the projects we create by using your own supplies, but it’s a great way to show your support. The money from VCC goes to maintaining the web hosting for this blog. :) For only $5 you get detailed step-by-step instructions and photos, and a complete supply list. All you have to do is break out your supplies and get started!

NOTE: Supplies are NOT included. You must use your own supplies. Virtual Card Club is essentially an online class.

Anyhow, enjoy! And if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. :)

NOTE: You will need an unzipping program to unzip the file (try Winzip for PCs, and StuffIt Expander for Macs). You’ll also need Adobe Reader to view the PDF file. Download it for free here.

NOTE: Depending on how you pay through PayPal (credit card vs. e-check), you might be able to download the PDF file immediately after submitting payment. If not presented with the opportunity to download immediately, a download link will be emailed to your PayPal email address. The system is automated, so requests for the PDF to be sent to a different email address cannot be accommodated. Thanks!
