Virtual Card Club – May 2010

Hi all!

It’s been a while since the last Virtual Card Club, eh? I haven’t forgotten about it, though. It’s just not quite as “monthly” as I’d hoped. Anyhow, for this Virtual Card Club I wanted to explore different ways of using patterned paper. So get out your stash of pretty papers and play along with me! :)

The PDF for this month’s class is 7 pages long with large photos and step by step instructions (with photos!). You can substitute the supplies I used with whatever you have on hand.

But in case you want to use the exact items, the supplies are listed on the first page. The main things you’ll need are: one sheet of Studio Calico paper, and this stamp set from Hero Arts. Sadly, the stamp set is sold out at TwoPeas as I write this blog post, but it will be back in stock soon. However, you don’t have to use that particular stamp set. To help you do the same technique but with a different stamp set, I have listed suggestions for what to look for in another stamp set in the instructions.

What is Virtual Card Club?
For those of you new to VCC, it’s the way I share my in-real-life card club with all of my blog readers. Not only do you get to follow along with the projects we create by using your own supplies, but it’s a great way to show your support. The money from VCC goes to maintaining the web hosting for this blog. :) For only $5 you get detailed step-by-step instructions and photos, and a complete supply list. All you have to do is break out your supplies and get started!

NOTE: Supplies are NOT included. You must use your own supplies. Virtual Card Club is essentially an online class.

Anyhow, enjoy! And if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. :)

You’ll also need Adobe Reader to view the PDF file. Download it for free here.
