Color Inspiration #1 Round-up

Hi all! I had so many responses to my first color challenge. Here are all of my reader’s cards as of when I write this entry. Enjoy!

NOTE: These are not my cards, so I’m pointing you in the direction of each card’s creator by linking each image back to the link they provided in their comment.

  1. I always love seeing what inspiration you will bring next. I love this idea. Thanks for the challenge. Would you mind doing the next challenge without using In Colours so Aussies like me and other demos around the world can join in? Thanks
    Love your work!

  2. Wow, look at all that beautiful eye candy! You have been a busy woman.
I was just looking on etsy tonight for some cute crochet flowers like that. Could you please share where you got those from (are they Queen&Co)?

Kristina says: I’m not sure where they’re from. You’d have to ask the creator, but I do have some flowers like the ones in the pictures that I found at a local scrap store. Mine are made by Imaginisce.

  3. Hello there,
I have one too!! Being overlooked in your previous list of comments doesn’t bother me, but I really like this card and want to share it. You can see it at

    This was really fun!

  4. I got confimation that my SU order shipped today so hopefully I’ll get it soon (since I’m brand new – only have the starter kit – I need more things to make this card) so I’ll be posting it here or emailing it to you if you prefer when I get on it!

  5. I started one last night and scrapped it (no pun) because I didn’t like it. These are wonderful it looks like everybody got right on it. I might still do one especially with all of these other great ideas. I’m sort of slow when it comes to designing. It takes me a long time to put something original together that I end up liking. I usually do an exact CASE. Thanks for sharing.

  6. This is so cute! the colours are so pretty of all the cards, i really liked that crochet flower idea. thanks for sharing artycreationblogspot…

  8. How fun! Okay, now that I realize this is a challenge for all of us, I will have to play :-) Thanks for sharing these cards!

  9. Well aren’t you a clever girl?! What a fun way to post links to everyone’s projects! (How’d you do that?! Ha!)

Darn, now I’m wishin’ I’d gotten a card made right away!

  10. Thank you for sharing these in this way. It lets me discover blogs I wouldn’t know about otherwise.

You know what? I just got back from Archivers (I didn’t read your answer until now) and they had those on clearance for 1.50 a package. I scooped bunches up! thanks.

  13. This was sooo much fun! I can hardly wait to see what your next color challenge will be. The cards people posted were gorgeous! You have such creative, amazingly talented, and supportive followers! In fact, we, as devoted MACM fans should come up with a name for us. (You know how Clay Aiken has Claymates…) Anyway, here is my submission.
