Morning, all!
This is a great card to make if you have little bits of ribbon hanging around. :) Like I say in the video, I had about half of these sitting on my desk and cut a couple more in coordinating colors to round out the assortment. If you have scraps that work without having to cut more ribbon, that’s even better! I surrounded the ribbon with a stamped textured from the Designer Woodgrain stamp from Hero Arts in Papertrey Ink Vintage Cream ink.
I also tried out my new Inkadinkado Embossing Pen, which I think everyone else who saw it in the TwoPeas Store decided to try out too. It’s currently sold out! And after using it for the first time today, I can see why! It’s amazing! This is the best embossing pen I’ve come across. If you run into it at a local store, or later at TwoPeas when it’s back in stock, snatch it up right away!
Anyhow, enjoy your Monday!

I used this card as an inspiration for a thank you card I made on Monday for a friend. My daughter and I had so much fun finding just the right ribbon! Thank you for the idea – I’ll be using this over and over again!
I picked up one of these embossing pens at ACMoore yesterday! It is so great and I love it but my pen is tinted like a blue color – is that how it’s suppose to be? I only asked cuase then when I emboss with clear powder the color stays tinted underneath instead of just a watermark of sorts. I watched you video again but can’t tell if your writing is clear or tinted too.
Thanks!
Yes, mine is blue also. I think it’s supposed to be.
Hi Kristina~ I wanted to thank you for the tip for the ribbon scraps and for the inspiration! I lwas immediately inspired not only by the tip, but the actual layout. When I went to do one of my own, I loved the layout so much that I used it kind of like a “peek a boo” window on one of my cards. You can check it out here if you’d like.
