Good morning, all!
This card started because of the poll that I posted yesterday. Even though the poll isn’t closed yet, the top response when I started filming was “Happy Birthday – Adult.” This card is pretty bright for an adult card, but I think it still works. :) In fact, you might be able to use it for a younger birthday person, too! :)
As I was looking through my supplies trying to find some bright birthday-like patterned paper, I came across a pattern in Sassafras’ Nerdy Bird 6×6 pad that reminded me of candles. And then the idea flowed from there. Paired up with Hero Arts’ Birthday Sayings stamp set, it was perfect!
Anyhow, enjoy!

What a simple and beautiful card :).
Thank you for showing us the process in making cards. I like to watch you figure how to put the images where on the card, readjust, ect. These video’s are teaching me so much.
I love how you took the striped paper and made them into candles, I would have never thought to do that yet it now looks like they were made for that purpose when looking at that sheet of paper. You are so awesome.
So simple and so adorable! Loved it!
