Hi all! Sorry for the late posting. But hey! It’s still Monday where I live. :)
I’ve been eagerly waiting for the new Silhouette Studio software to come out because they announced at CHA-Summer that the software would FINALLY be for Macs, too! YAY! HALLELUJAH! I’ve been wanting this since I bought my Silhouette cutting machine nearly three years ago!
Anyhow, the software was just released last week and I downloaded it this morning. Immediately, I wanted to cut something to be used for today’s card and video. My first purchase from the Silhouette store was the You Are Seriously Awesome Card by Loni Stevens. SO cute!
I adjusted the design a bit so that there was more room at the bottom of the card to accommodate some ribbon. I show you how to do that in the video. After the design was cut out, I added some patterned paper from Crate Paper’s School Spirit 6×6 paper pad, some Papertrey Ink ribbon, and (of course) some white gel pen. :)
BTW, I mention in the video–and it’s absolutely true–that American Crafts card stock is the best with the Silhouette. It was recommended by fellow Garden Girl Nichol Magouirk and I most definitely concur. It cuts like butter!
Anyhow, enjoy!
NOTE: You can see the on computer stuff better if you watch the video in HD.

Ah, true love between Mannie and you…….
How many items have you got in your dock… made me laugh to see it. Have you ever heard of the application launcher quicksilver?
So excited about the mac software for the silhouette, gonna finally get one now I think.
LOL! And what’s bad is that I use every single one of those applications. You could call me a “power user.” :)
Sweet, sweet Mannie!
Thanks for another great card and all the how too’s. I think I’ll try something like that on my cricut with SCAL.
Best of all is Mannie waking up on that plush chair from sleeping and he’s in a good mood and happy to come to be with you..
I always like when he’s talking in the background during your tuts..
pat

Your Mannie is a handsome boy. I had to go give my babies some love after watching him.
