Searching for rulers?
I’ve had a lot of questions about the blue t-square ruler I use in my videos. I actually bought it at a local office supply store, but it seems that many of you are having trouble finding something similar.
So, here’s what I found to help you out…
Over at DickBlick.com (an awesome art supply store), they have the exact ruler that I bought years YEARS ago when I first started studying calligraphy. I loved this ruler SO much and panicked when it broke in my scrapbook bag about a year ago. That’s when went out to find a replacement and ended up with the blue ruler I have now. However, I think I might buy this clear one in remembrance of my beloved ruler from yesteryear–and promptly bag the blue ruler (which I don’t like nearly as much).

I got it at Michaels, in the specialty pencils and canvases section (yeah, I obviously don’t go there enough). :)

I just got one exactly like this clear one this past weekend. Found mine in the drafting aisle at Hobby Lobby for around $2.00. Love it!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I ordered it and then came to thank you and saw others found it in different departments than I looked….oh well. I even asked the sales person and they just directed me to the ruler section not drafting….geez kids today do not work like we did years ago….we didn’t stop helping a customer until we knew for sure it wasn’t available.
But, thank you again anyway!!! At least it’s on its way..
October 2nd, 2008 at 4:17 amSo after I saw you use a T-squared ruler i went on a huge man hunt to find one… I looked at every office supply store from the local one to staples and office max… but I found one at Michael’s arts and crafts store… you have to look in the art supplies over where the paint canvases…. they are only a few bucks… it was worth all the man hunting… I hope this helps some of you…
October 2nd, 2008 at 10:12 amI got mine at AC Moore in the art dept. & its a clear one not blue…they didn’t have it any other color. It was really cheap, under $2. if I remember correctly. I bought it about 6 months ago. Hope that helps some of your readers.

I’ve seen that ruler in several scrapbook related blogs and I was wondering where to get it. I’ll check if they ship overseas; if they don’t, I’ll look in art stores around here.
