Hi all! This week’s Color Inspiration comes from H&M. I took this photo when I was in Las Vegas this fall. I absolutely love these intense colors! So cool looking!

Anyway, it’s a really different color palette so I’m excited to see what you guys come up with. Hopefully it will turn out as cool as it looks in the photo. :)

HEADS UP! I have created a FAQ specifically for Color Inspiration Challenges. See it here. I have clarified some things and added a few rules. Please read it–even if you have participated in the challenges previously. Just read it this once. I’ll let you know if I change anything later. :)

What did I change starting with this CI29? Some of you are still linking directly to your blog and not to your specific blog entry. Unfortunately, if you do so I will not count your entry for consideration in the Round-Up anymore and your Mister Linky link will be deleted. So, please PLEASE remember to link directly to your creation–NOT to your main blog page. For more information on permalinks and why you should use them, go here.

Join us: Make a card/scrapbook page/whatever in the colors above. Color Inspiration virgins, please read the Color Inspiration FAQ first.

Deadline: Thursday, November 6 at 7:00 pm MT.
You will know when the deadline has past because you will not able to submit a new link through the Mister Linky box.

Grab this week’s swatch-only image.

When I saw the colours this week I thought they would be easy colours to put together but that was not so. I do love the colours.

Tricia T of NC November 6, 2008 at 12:17 am

This was a true challenge…I was glad I FINALLY got time to participate…

Enjoyed!!

Lindsay Marquiss November 6, 2008 at 12:27 am

This was my first color challenge, Kristina! Thanks for the fun combination of beatiful colors. Funny how you don’t notice their vibrance until they are grouped so harmoniously. :] Anyway, I was so excited to finish my card that my craftmanship is definitely off, but oh well! This was sooo much fun. Looking forward to more!

First time posting since you implemented the new guidelines. Hope it works! Great colors.

Tracy November 6, 2008 at 6:13 am

I did a whole double layout this time – these colors soooo reminded me of our trip to Puerto Rico last winter

http://zukesgirl.blogspot.com/2008/11/kwerner-challenge.html

Thanks for the challenge!

Nancy November 6, 2008 at 6:45 am

It’s my first time posting.

Love the color!

Sarah from MO November 6, 2008 at 6:50 am

Hmm…Mr.Linky is working sooo well, he won’t take my link. I’ll keep trying.

Lindsay, your link is there. You just need to refresh the page to see it. :) #62.

Savitri November 6, 2008 at 8:16 am

Great colors! A bit intimidating at first but I got something out of them :) Thanks!!

Shelley G in Iowa November 6, 2008 at 9:02 am

A challenging color combo to be sure, but in the end I really enjoyed stretching myself. I love using colors that are out of my comfort zone! Thanks once again, Kristina!

Stephanie Castro November 6, 2008 at 9:11 am

Another great color combo! Loved it!

Stephanie A November 6, 2008 at 9:13 am

That was a really tough one for me. I always seem to struggle when there is no green (for leaves or flower stems…) Thank you for the challenge, and for bringing back the “round up”…I love it!

Amy Bollman November 6, 2008 at 9:18 am

Wow! Great challenge! It was a tough one, but still super fun!

Sarah in Mo November 6, 2008 at 9:28 am

AHha! I think I’ve got it. Just in case anyone else is having trouble (and assuming it works!) I use blogger…click on the date stamp of your entry you want to link, it will show you the “address” of the pic; then type that in Kristina’s submission spot. I HOPE that’s all it takes. –S

Emily Hoadley November 6, 2008 at 9:34 am

Yay! I did a challenge. This one was a crazy combo! But I find that I get in a color combo rut and find most of the cards I make are all the same, so this pushes me to use different colors!

Kate B November 6, 2008 at 9:38 am

I sure hope I linkded that right!
Thanks for the great colour’s Kristina!

Deanna November 6, 2008 at 9:46 am

Wow when I first seen this one, it was so outta my box that I wasn’t even sure I was going to do it!

Yowza! This was quite the challenge – very outside the box. Thanks for pushing me this week, it was very good for me. Have a great weekend, Kristina!!

Jenna M. November 6, 2008 at 4:03 pm

As always this was a great challenge!! Thanks.

Amy November 6, 2008 at 4:06 pm

Goodness!! This one was hard for me. I had to do some digging to find Elegant Eggplant and Taken with Teal cardstock. And I’ve hardly used any of my Pacific Point. I’m just thankful you had Pumpkin Pie in there as it’s one of my faves. Good challenge!

Alyssa November 6, 2008 at 4:34 pm

Oooh, I love this combo! It’s gorgeous!!! :o)

This was quite a challenge! But thank you, because it really pushed me outside my comfort zone and I really like the way it turned out. I’m confused if I put the link here too, but others seem to be, so I guess I will! Thanks again!

My comment seems to have been lost! I know I submitted about 5 PM MT. I am so upset! I really did a great job this time!

terri seal November 8, 2008 at 8:59 pm

I think i missed the deadline, darn it! I tried so hard on this first entry too-they were hard colors for me to work with. I enjoy your blog & challenges, though I’ve never (till now) participated, I always check em out. Thanks :)
