Good morning, all! I hope your weekend was fabulous!
For today’s card, I wanted to use some of the washi tape I bought a while ago, in particular this pack of Mixtape (such a cute name!) from American Crafts. There’s been a washi tape trend for a while but I just wasn’t sure how to use it on a card. I tried a few things and this is what I came up them.
BTW, a couple more packs of Mixtape are on sale at TwoPeas at the moment.
I also mention in the video that there are some 3×3 envelopes at TwoPeas. You can get them here.
Anyhow, enjoy!

Love this crad, I too have had lots of washi tape that I love but just didn’t know what to do with so thanks for the ideas!
Oops, I meant card lol!
Cute card!!! Once again you have inspired me. Now I’m gonna have to head over to Two Peas to check out those tapes.
Beautiful job! Love those polka dots!! Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. We have a long weekend this weekend (Victoria Day in Canada) so it was nice to wake up to this and watch it in the am rather than later on after work! :)
Super cute card! :)
Such a darling card! Thanks for the little tutorial about why you rounded the top right corner; I love to hear your thought process out loud!
Have a great day.
Angie
I’m excited to see you use the washi tape, I have a slight obsession with collecting these cute tapes :)
Gorgeous!!!! Jo x
So cute, Kristina! Love the little scallop at the bottom-your card inspired the one I made today!
I love washi tape too! I try to think of it as a strip of paper-that gets my brain on the right track. I love how you tore it! Great texture!
What a cutie-pa-tootie! Love the torn tape..love the heart..love it all! Nicely done Kristna :)
VERY cute! Thanks so much!
I love to watch how you “think” out loud but even more, when you “create” from your mistakes!! I love how you just roll with it! Makes me think that I CAN do it! LOL Great little card. Thanks. Have a GREAT weekend next week!!
such a cute card… I have some wash tape on hand and will definitely try it.
Have a great weekend ahead!
I was mugging for a paper later today and I forced myself to finish one section before I could watch your MACM vid :) Thank you for always bringhtening up my Mondays (or Tuesdays for me) with your little inspirations here and there Kristina! Oh, and I love the nail colour. Mint is my latest fav :D
I ordered my washi tape from someone in New Zealand as it was a sampling and i wasn’t sure what to do with it. Thanks for the great idea. Cute card as always. WIll miss next Monday but you deserve a day off too.
Lovely card! :)
Hi! I’m glad to see your projects using paper or washi tape. I have a fixation on this lately. Please see the link to my 2peas profile, it has 2 cards (the heart/scallop combo) in which I used 7gypsies tape as a ribbon border. Martha Stewart has had some product along this line, as well as the new *Smash collection at K and Company (<3 <3 <3). thanks!
I love this card Kristina! I think it is fantastic!
Now I have to go buy some washi tape!!! Your card is great, and I love that you left in the little error so we all could see and learn from it.
thanks,
Jane
thanks for sharing! i had no idea until now what washi tape was! :)
I love your videos. It’s like sitting down with a friend. I know you’ve said this before, but what kind of glue is in that litle white and green bottle? It ;looks like it has a really small opening and I need one like that. thanks.
