Friday Focus – Folded Card #4

Morning, all! This is the fourth and last Focus Friday featuring different card folds inspired by the book Folding Ideas for Cards and Envelopes. Next week we’ll be moving on to another topic. :)

Today’s fold is super easy. And I didn’t use a whole lot of supplies. :) Mainly, just the Away We Go 6×6 pad from My Mind’s Eye, and the You Are the Best stamp set from Studio Calico and Hero Arts (just the circle frame). The most difficult part was trying to figure out a way to cut the circle in the different patterned paper pieces and have it match up in the middle. It would have been infinitely easier if I had a circle punch that large, but oh well!

Anyhow, hope you all enjoy! :)

  1. Looove this card! I’ts just like someone before me mentioned, like a opening a special gift. Thank you for being such an inspiration to us all:)

  2. I have the triangular piece. I should have clarified – I wish I had measurements for the ones it DOESN’T list. I actually found a video online on making envelopes with it for 3×3, 4×4 and 5×5 cards so it was exactly what I needed! I have another question though….would you say that when you cut near the fold with your exacto on all four sides that it was SLIGHTLY TO THE LEFT of each score line? I can’t see in the video and want to do it right! Thanks!!

    • Yes, it’s slightly away from the scor line. I did that on purpose so that the edge wouldn’t have the scor on it and possibly look strange.

  3. love this card!
