Wow, the Holiday Card Series snuck up on me! For whatever reason I kept thinking it started next week, but then I looked at my calendar yesterday and TA DA! Starts today. :)
First of all, I have to apologize for not getting a supplies post up beforehand. Unfortunately, I didn’t know exactly what I would be using until I was filming. And even though I scheduled to start filming these weeks ago, I was too busy with other projects and didn’t get to start until yesterday. AHHH!!! So these videos will be very… fresh? New? Basically, I just made them. :)
Anyhow, for Day 1 I chose to use the Happy Holidays stamp set from Hero Arts and BasicGrey. I just love those little houses. :) I kept the card very light and airy by using a patterned paper from Crate Paper’s Peppermint 6×6 pad. For the sentiment, I used a stamp set from Papertrey Ink.
Enjoy!

yay!!! thanks for another year of this series! looking forward to all the cute and inspiring Christmas cards!!
Cute card. I have lots of house stamps that would work for my casing your card. Thanks also for choosing not to use sponsors this year. You are encouraging us to use what we have and our imaginations. Thanks!
I just love your card series! I’m challenging myself to CASE all of your holiday cards this year…I hope I can keep up (although I certainly won’t get them done in 25 days!), and I hope I can make cards that are even half as beautiful as yours! If you are curious, here’s the link to my first one:

Thanks so much for the inspiration. You’re amazing!
Yay it’s that time of year again. Although I haven’t made one single card in my life, I always love watching your videos. You make it look so easy… maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to give it a try. For now I’ve pinned and tweeted your first post in this year’s series :)
Thanks, Kristina!
This is great. I’m a newbie to the blog and I’m loving this series and that there is some from the past. thanks
