Day 3 – Holiday Card Series 2011

Good morning! Today is Day 3 of the Holiday Card Series for 2011. Just a couple things to clear up…

Regular Videos?

Yes, MACM and Friday Focus is on a break until after the Holiday Card Series. I have one more installment of the patterned paper Friday Focus series, so that will continue after the Holiday Card Series is over.

There will be a PDF of sketches of all 25 cards. Watch for that at the conclusion of the Holiday Card Series.

Faux Letterpress

For today’s card, I did a technique called faux letterpress. Basically, I applied ink to one side of an embossing folder (in this case, the Christmas Stockings embossing folder from Sixxiz), put white cardstock inside, and then ran it through my Big Shot machine. I learned this technique from Jennifer McGuire in Summer Card Camp and also Inspiration Showcase. You can register for both classes HERE, by the way. :)

Anyhow, enjoy!
