Morning, all!
Today I’m continuing on my “mass-produce” holiday card bent. This card works up fairly fast with minimal effort. I wanted to create a long card with a large sentiment. Not having a large sentiment stamp that would fit a card that size, I created my own in Adobe Illustrator and then cut the design out with my Silhouette cutting machine. You can get the cut file below (both SVG and DXF files).
As for the stamped pattern on the bottom edge of the card, I stamped the baby’s breath stamp from the Poinsettia & Berries stamp set from Hero Art and BasicGrey in VersaMark, embossed it in silver, and then colored in a few of the circles with a VersaMarker. I loved the tone on tone effect of the silver embossing powder and dark gray card stock.
Anyhow, enjoy!

Gorgeous! And the blue ribbon is just beautiful.
so totally loving this one – of all of the posts to date, this is my fave. not sure why, but it is. i’ll be coming back for the download.
Thank you so much for this studio file….can’t wait to use my Silh to create it! I love the elegance and yet simplicity of this card. I’m loving this series!!
I found using spray adhesive works out in the garage if you have one. I’m so not patient enough to use the tombow applicator for very long. I also found some die-cut ahdhesive sticky dots by Therm O Web that kind of works on these kinds of things. The only problem is that it leaves a lot of clean-up work. It worked great for the spider webs I did on Halloween cards because I sprinkled glitter over it to make them shiny…I won on that one. :)
Lovely elegant card, Kristina! I love the tone on tone with embossing.
Just beautiful Kristina! I love what you did with the Versa Marker on those little dots. I like those little baby breath dots, not sure why. They just get to me. The gray on gray with the soft green is perfect!
Just wanted to comment and say how much I’m enjoying your Holiday Card Series. The cards are really creative and festive and I’ve picked up some tips that I can incorporate into my own cards! Thanks for doing this!
Hello Kristina,
I’ve really enjoyed your Holiday Card Series!
This is such an elegant and beautiful card, and very easy to mass-produce. I have been having difficulty with my Silhouette not cutting through my cardstock very easily. I would purchase this item because I love it…I just know it wouldn’t cut well for me. Do you have any suggestions? Do you use thinner paper with your Silhouette, or are you successful with cardstock? If you are successful with cardstock, what are your settings and what brand of paper do you use (if you don’t mind my asking)? I’ve tried all the settings I can think of and I’ve gone through a lot of paper in the process. Any help you can give I would really appreciate because I’d love to use my Silhouette, I really would! It’s just not working for me… :-)
I’m looking forward to the Holiday Boot Camp!
Thanks, Kristina.
Have you replaced your blade recently? That might be the issue.
I use American Crafts textured card stock and it cuts like a dream! I always have my cut settings on card stock as well.
Also, you can have it do multiple cuts by selecting the image, copying, and then paste in front. The machine will read both images on top of each other and cut it twice. This trick works for some more resistant card stocks.
Hope that helps!
OMG! love love love the file saw it and bought it!
Thanks!
Thank you SO much for including the .SVG file as well !
I immediately bought it :-)
Still love your handwriting.
Renate.
gorgeous!!! love the elegant look of this card and the different length. :)
Beautiful card….just like all of your designs. Question- why did you rub the card with a static sheet beforehand? Does that help with embossing? Thanks- Alison
Yes, it removes the static cling that would cause the powder to stick to unwanted places.
Hey Kristina – fantastic card! And it is official, Mani is my favourite virtual cat!! Cheers Cathy
I am loving your Christmas Card series and this card is a favorite for sure, thanks for the file.
Thanks so much for this card series. It is great. Loved it when your kitty spoke up. My Missy was on my computer desk while I was watching and she started looking for that cat out the window. I got a good laugh.
Can you use the dryer sheet more than once when wiping the card before embossing?
Kristina, You have a gift. You are so creative and we are thankful you share your artsy knowledge with us. Loved the studio file you made available to your followers. Thanks!! Hop over to see the card I made “Inspired by K. Werner”. :) pennysscrappaperscis…
A very striking card! I am enjoying your holiday card series and will try to incorporate some of the design ideas into my Christmas Cards. Though I must say that watching your videos has also enforced my wish to get a Silhouette!
Kristina, Thanks for sharing your art knowledge with us every Monday & Friday and of course the Holiday Card Series is FANTASTIC. I LOVE the cutting file and have blogged a card inspired by you with a link back here so my Penny Black friends can grab it also. Thanks for all you do!
Gorgeous! I think it’s my favorite one yet! Would you consider creating the words Thank You in a similar font? I am getting a Silhouette for Christmas, and would love to make some gorgeous thank you cards for Christmas gifts!
Love the tone on tone look. Hello back to Manny. Thanks again for all your ideas.

First of all, make sure you have the latest version of the software. Then go to File > Import to My Library. That should work.
That helps a lot, thank you
