Day 24 – Holiday Card Series 2011

Morning, all!

For today’s card, I did a bit of watercoloring. I did a pale blue sky background for the card, but it dried super light. If I haven’t watercolored for a while I forget that it dries considerably lighter. Oh, well! Anyhow, I used the Laughter & Joy stamp set from Hero Arts for the tree and the sentiment, and colored in the tree using Stampin’ Up! markers by putting the marker ink on a clear block and picking it up with an Aquash brush. Super easy, and a great way to stretch supplies.

Anyhow, enjoy!

  2. I can’t believe the 25 days are already coming to an end …. bummer. I love love love watching you make cards. Based on your usage of the stamp press, I am assuming it is one of your “go to tools” these days – along with the Xyron runner. I purchased the stamp press and have the runner on my wish list!
