Morning, all!
Today I have for you the final card and video in my Valentine’s Day mini series. I did another simple one layer card (except for the twine, obviously), but did a sort of ombre heart effect. Easy and I think you could mass produce these pretty quickly, too. :)
I used two different red inks, a true red and a coral pink. To get the lighter pink, I double stamped the coral pink ink. This means I stamped the “full strength” ink once and before inking the stamp up again I stamped it a second time. The second stamped heart in therefore a lighter shade.
Anyhow, enjoy!

Love your card Kristina. Very simple but yet just perfect. Thanks for sharing!
Lovely! Jo x
This is really cute, and so doable!! Thank you so much!
K,
I’ve been reading your blog for quite a while – love it! I must know – what is your nail regime? I love all the different nails in your videos. How do you manage to keep such perfect looking nails with so much crafting? Mine are a wreck! I love polish, but it really only lasts a day when I craft. How do you get yours to dry? Any hints will be greatly appreciated.
It’s all in the topcoat. Try Seche Vite. It’s a super fast drying topcoat! I just love it! You only need about 10 minutes for it to be dry to the touch, and after 30 minutes it won’t even dent or smudge. :) You can get it at Amazon HERE, or you can find it at Sally’s Beauty Supply, Ulta Beauty, and sometimes I see it at Target (although it’s more expensive there).
I love the card thanks for an idea!!!!
I love the simplicity of the card =) So much that I created a card so similar, yet so different from yours, but with stars!
Love it! I’m going to use this idea to create a thank-you card, mini card. Thanks for all of the great ideas and videos. I’ve been following for over a year now, and have even started a card swap group that meets once a month. Love it!
Beautiful card! I CASEd the design today, with different colors, bows instead of hearts, and a few other changes. Would not have thought of my card without seeing yours! I gave you credit on my blog. Thank you for some great inspiration!
