MACM – Masculine Birthday Card

Hi all!

I’m back from Disneyland and it was so fun! I just love Disneyland! :)

Anyhow… One of my most requested card types is birthday cards that are masculine. So when I saw the Celebrate 6×6 pad from Authentique (available HERE at Simon or HERE at TwoPeas) I knew it would make an awesome masculine card. In the video when I flip through the patterns you’ll see that there are a couple more feminine patterns (flowers, anyone?), but for the most part it’s very masculine.

So, enjoy! Thankfully, I’ll be home for a while so the sporadic video uploading will subside. :)

  1. Great as always, Kristina.

  2. Nice card! I have been seeing a lot of these lately-others must be on the same wave as you. It’s always nice to see a masculine card because they are sometimes the hardest for me-they can get so boring! Not this one:)

  3. Loved it! The heart was a great touch :) Thanks for sharing!!

  4. Great card!

Your Xyron mega-runner seems to work much better than mine, is there some trick I don’t know? I have noticed mine works better if I run it slowly, it seems to lay down more adhesive that way. Does yours seem quirky that way?

  5. Lovin’ this card!! Hello? Must get that patterned paper!!

  6. I think your card is perfect!

  7. I struggle coming up with ideas for masculine cards, so I was so excited to see your post today. I hope the paper comes back in stock again soon.

  12. You are so awesome! So awesome that I would like to give you a challenge. I am challenging you to use one 6×6 paper pad until it is gone. Will you accept the challenge?

  13. In my opinion, if a man is secure of his manhood, a little heart is not going to bother him. I even got roses from my wife for our 10th wedding anniversary. Great card! :)

  19. No matter how much I like other crafters’ cards, there is something about yours that is just a “cut above the rest”…. the right number of elements, the right colors, the right patterns…. perfect!

  20. I like the colors and layers of the card (not the numbers though, dunno why) and I can create a similar one as a beginner even with my yet limited supplies. :) Thanks for sharing.
