Webster’s Pages & LaBlanche Card

Hi all! Here’s another card and video I did for Simon. Hope you like it. I love how it turned out. :)

For this card I wanted to use some patterned paper from Webster’s Pages and the Bugs in Bush stamp from LaBlanche. I thought the more sophisticated look of the stamp would pair well with the design of the patterned paper.

I also wanted to create a layering effect by clear embossing the stamp and then overlaying some vellum. I love how it turned out!

Anyhow, enjoy!

  1. What a beautiful card! Really love the background. Thanks for the video. Hugs! Mojca

  2. So pretty!!! And it doesn’t have your signature dash lines but it still looks great! I have added LaBlanche stamps several times to my online carts but have never ended up purchasing them, now I will after seeing how pretty this one stamped.
    Thanks Kristina!

  3. SOOOO cute! I just love the way you use the stamps and embossing powders. This card is really really lovely. Looking forward to seeing more cards!

  4. This is a lovely card. I like the idea of wrapping the vellum to eliminate the issue of glue showing on vellum, and I love the subtlety of the background. Thank you for sharing this.

  5. LOVE! the vellum strip looked like ribbon in the picture- super nice card!

  6. Love this card, you’re ideas are awesome!!
I do have a question for you…a friend of mine asked me to make a birthday card for her to give to her daughter who is turning 30. She has given me a photo of the 2 of them that she wants on the front of the card. I will use my Nestabilities Dies which is a frame and cut out the picture to put in the frame.
Do you have any ideas for me as how to embellish the front of the card with the photo?
    Thank you very much, Ann.

    • You could always use the die to cut a window in the front of the card and put the picture on the inside of the card. :)

  7. Classy and elegant! I love the silicone stamp :) the sentiment looks so appealing on the velum sheet. I looked at all the local supply craft stores and couldn’t find any vellum paper :( Do you buy those sheets online?

  8. The card is beautiful. The vellum just makes it pop!

  9. Gorgeous colors! SO elegant. I love it.

  10. I love this card! It is very elegant and your craftsmanship is superb. I never thought before of wrapping the vellum around the front of the card–this works very well. Thank you!

  11. Nic card! I like the stamps and papers. :)

  12. Kristina, this is pure genius! I love vellum but always have trouble with adhesives and I just adore this whole thing! I’ll probably use it for something Christmasy! thanks so much! PS, am also loving service at Simon Says Stamp!
