How to Link Color Inspiration Challenge Entries

by Kristina Werner on February 21, 2009

in Color Inspiration, Videos

Hi everyone! I went through a bunch of links for the last Color Inspiration Challege and unfortunately I had to delete over twenty links because they were not entered correctly. In order to reduce confusion, I made a little video for you explaining how to get the correct link to your entry. :)

Also, because I had to delete so many, I won’t close the links until Monday. If your link was deleted, please resubmit it so we can see your stuff! :)

Is it the same if I don’t have a blog but post my entry on Splitcoast?

Kristina Werner February 21, 2009 at 8:13 pm

Angela, yes it is. Just go to the actual page at Splitcoast where people can leave comments on your image, and then copy the address at the top of your browser window. :)

Thanks you so much for doing this tutorial. I often like to look and see what people have done for a particular challenge, and get frustrated when I have to scroll through to find the post I want. It makes for a better experience for me when I find what I want when I want.

Thanks for spending the time to let everyone know in clear non-techie jargon. :D

HI THANKS FOR THE VIDEO BUT I DON’T HAVE THE P AND THE NUMBERS IN MY WEB BAR. WHAT DO I DO?

Kristina Werner February 21, 2009 at 10:11 pm

Jamie, it doesn’t have to have the p or the numbers. Just copy and paste the address from the page that has the comments on it (the one that loads after you click on the title of the post). :)

Beautiful Kristina, thankyou for doing that! I know that i re-read the FAQ at least twice before i tired to post my card, and then hoped that i wouldn’t get it deleted cause i’d done it wrong! YAY!! I didn’t. may i please ask though how do you put your groovy little CIC pic on to your own blog. I’ve noticed others blog users have it up and then their card design, and i would love to show off your cool pic with then my card underneath. Do you have the time to explain how i achieve that please?!?
May i say again how amazing i think you are, thank you for your continual inspiration and for your truly open and honest heart, i soooooooooo appreciate it and i know that others do too.
Smiles Sharnee :0)

Perfect timing. I was just asking my husband how to upload images to Splitcoasters and then make links to it. I also want to thank you for all you videos–I am a loyal watcher for both MACM and Finally Friday. My best wishes as you branch out to do new things.
