Links to pens at JetPens: Pental Tradio EnerGel, Pilot Acroball 3 Color Ballpoint, Kuretake Zig Letter Pen Bodies and Refills
I’m totally loving all four of these pens that I picked up from JetPens.com. Here’s a short little review… :)
The Pentel Tradio is the perfect smooth writing gel pen. It’s just yummy to use. Plus, it’s just cool that it has a little cut out window in the tip of the cap so you can see the tip of the pen (you can’t see it in the photo above, though).
The Acroball line from Pilot is actually really nice, too. It isn’t as smooth for writing as the Tradio. That’s to be expected since it’s not a gel pen, though. I love the thin line and the fact that it has three colors in this version. I picked up a couple more that are the regular Acroball pens (just one color ink instead of three) and they’ll good as well.
And I’m TOTALLY in love with the CocoIro line from Kuretake. It’s a fun idea. Different colors of pen bodies and then you pick the refill. There are lots of different refills, too. Ballpoint, brush tip, and sort of a felt tip. Multiple colors to choose from. I’ve heard that you can write with just the refill without the pen body, but I like the feel of the pen body. Plus, the refills roll off desks easily. The clip on the pen body prevents that.
Disclaimer: JetPens let me choose some pens to try. These are my picks. :)

noooo…. such enabling!!! MUST get that Cocolro pen… ayyy yi yi! :)
Love good pens. These look like winners. Thanks for the info.
Every time you share these pens, I seem to want them ALL! The look awesome! P.S. haveawonderful trip!
I LOVE pens! I collect them, too! I haven’t tried any of these, but now might…
I love pens and am very picky about what I use. Anything you feature, I have to try! As the finer the line the better I love it, I have to check out the CocoIro line. I’m not sure if I should thank you for enabling or not! :D
Have a great vacation.
I LOVE pens and as an RN, I do A LOT of writing. I REALLY LOVE NEW pens, so will be ordering some of these in the near future, but, more than likely, first will have to be the Distress Pens. Need to start saving pennies for those.
Hey Kristina,
What type of notebook are you using? I see that it’s a Cambridge but I haven’t seen one yet with the date/subject lines, etc.
Just the regular legal pad. I think that’s what it is… here it is as Amazon.
Thanks! :)
The Kuretake pens are super cute! I love the different colored bodies :)
Hey Kristina, I have a quick question… is that a paper pad? Wondering where you got it? I love it! Thanks!
See my reply above. :)
Oh, sorry never mind! Just saw the Cambridge mark on the bottom of the pad! Will google that!
Just wanted to let you know your “test” post sent me to a 404 error page. By the way, thanks, now I have to go buy some pens! :-)
Kristina,
Do you have a recommendation to use with water color or acrylic paints? i’m looking for a pen that does not bleed :)
You are a jet pen enabler. After your post I felt obligated, no compelled to do some of my own jetpen damage to the old plastic card.
Thank you I needed an excuse to make buy. I did take some of your suggestions for my choices.;)Can’t wait=)
Hi Thanx for your wptouch video!!
I’m happy now!!^^
So fun! Love those Cocolro pens…may have to try them out. Thanks for the review.
Just wanted to let you know, that I was so ‘enabled’ by this post that I have now set up my new account at Jet Pens and my first order is on it’s way!! I bought a few of the awesome Zig Kuretake Pens and love the colors they had!! Can’t wait to try them out, now if I could only write in your penmanship, I’d be all set!!
PS: LOVE the new dies you designed for SSS!! They are on my wish list for my next shopping spree!!
Wow! I am loving those Zig pens. I am a sucker for a good pen. TFS!
I just bought one of those Tradio pens by Pentel and the ink stopped flowing the second word I wrote! So bummed :( I’ve scribbled and scribbled to no avail. Do you have a trick to get it writing again?
Hmm… I’m not sure what to recommend. You might head over to JetPens and see what they say. I think there’s a customer service email address over there. :)
