Hello, all!
I’ve talked about the new dies from Simon Says Stamp here at my blog in the past. Well, today I’m participating in a blog hop featuring the dies. I can’t wait to get hopping myself to see what others created with the dies, too! :)
For my card, I decided to use both the Oh Happy Day die (of which I only used the word “happy”), and the Star Border die to create a birthday card…

I love how dainty the “happy” is. I couldn’t resist having it hang off the gray area. I simply applied glue to only the portion that would be touching the gray paper. I thought it probably wouldn’t be a card that could withstand a lot of handling since this dainty die cut might get mangled, but I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy it is! BTW, I cut the word out using Neenah Solar White card stock.

I love all the dies! Can’t wait to use them some more. You can see all eleven dies HERE.
Giveaway Time!
As part of the hop, I get to give away one of my favorite dies!
If you want a chance to win the Oh Happy Day die, please leave a comment below. International entries welcome. The die will be shipped straight from Simon Says Stamp. Winner will be chosen tomorrow morning, so you have until 8:00 am MDT on Thursday, June 21 to leave a comment. After the winner is announced, they will have 24 hours to claim their prize. :)
Get hopping!
Your next stop in the blog hop is Laurel Beard. :) If for whatever reason you encounter a broken link while hopping, feel free to head back to the Simon Says Stamp blog to see the list of blogs.
